Great quality at a very affordable price

This product works great and looks amazing.

I ordered this to use in my secondary bath on the second floor. I am in the process of remodeling my master bath and the shower or this bath backed to the master and the shower valve was accessible. Once I finish the master bath this shower will back to a new master shower covered with tile. So I figured it would be best to do it now. First the product we packaged very impressively. I have done many installs of shower valves and this is the best packaging I have seen. The system itself is also of very nice quality. It is very heavy. I will say the directions are not that great. I would recommend making sure you have all the rough in done spot on. That part of the directions are not the best. This system is for a complete gut and replacement of your existing system, or new installation. I used it in an existing one piece shower tub system. I was able to do this because I had the old system exposed through the wall on the back side of the existing valve. I think this gave me an advantage when doing the install. I was able to mount the rough in fittings and valve to the backing boards, install the shower head, sprayer and spout, then pull them tight against the inside shower wall from the back side and secure the mounting board between the studs. The face plate of the valve has no installation instructions and no screws like a typical valve. It simply pushes on. I used a very thin bead of silicone sealant on the back of the plate to adhere it better. The one thing in the directions they are very clear on is using the Teflon tape, witch they did supply. I did not use tape. I used blue brush on thread sealant. It worked perfect. Long story short, It works, it is good quality, the directions are not the best and I recommend a professional unless you are like me and have done this type of thing in the past.

I wasn't able to install the fixture as I didn't realize I would have to cut into the wall. Price was better than Lowes or Home Depot
