Love these folders. There really help me stay organized and Im able to pick them out of my cabinet and take them on the go which is really convenient when going to the bank or my advisor. Would definitely recommend. I also love that they look classier than just a big yellow folder or something just as boring, but still have a little style to them.

When I saw the box these came in, I thought perhaps I had received the wrong item because the box was so fancy! What fun opening up the cute box and finding flashy hanging folders inside. I thought I was done with hanging folders since I have been retired for over 20 years, but I volunteered to serve as secretary to a charity group and now I need file folders again. I figured I would go with something fun rather than get the ugly dark green cheap ones from Walmart. There is where the minus one star comes in - these are expensive! Yes, they are very classy, but they really don't get seen that much in your file drawer. But they did make me smile and I don't pay full price being an Amazon Vine member. I read some other reviews and let me tell you either they got a different product or they are a little misled. The tabs sit up above the edge of the file just like any other file folder. It has a large slit to make it easy to get the plastic tabs inserted and you can either push the plastic tab to the bottom of the slit or pull it up to the top of the slits and your tab will sit exactly where you need to see it. In addition, the hanging rods are not plastic, they are metal. They have a coating on them that may lead someone to believe they are plastic, but I took my pliers and bent them and they bend like metal - they did not break like plastic would have.

Dont go crazy on these and add larger files as they will likely come apart. They aren't reinforced for heavier files. Nonetheless? if aesthetics are your top priority? These are gorgeous! I use them on an open file cabinet to show them off. Ready right out of the box.

These hanging folders are decent quality and the color choice is directed at the younger set but this old man likes them too. They will last just fine and continue to look good if they are not overloaded.

These file folders work just fine. They're fancy enough to distinguish the contents from your regular old humdrum folders full of workaday contents, so be sure to fill them up with swellegant information. You could use them for all of your Citations For Bravery on Black Friday, or Cooking Under Duress Achievement Awards. They really are well constructed, though, on a more serious note. They should last a long time without fraying at the edges or the metal hanging bits sliding out the sides.

These come in a sturdy box that is worth keeping for storage until you use the folders. It includes 6 each of two designs, and a packet of clear tabs and tab inserts. They're smooth and elegant looking. The hanging bar is plastic, but seems no less sturdy than the metal ones. One thing I noticed right away: the openings for inserting the tabs are positioned lower than on my other hanging files. This results in the tab itself sitting lower inside the top of the folder (see photos for comparison). If you're a perfectionist, this might bother you. : )
