Great Value for Drum Amp or Monitor
I've been impressed with this affordable and versatile amp. From a value perspective, it's a great choice, especially for beginners. The sound quality handles the full spectrum really well — everything from deep lows to highs, and provides punchy mids, that can all be controlled and dialed in with the 3 band eq. I haven't noticed the amp coloring the tone too much, and it's really neutral, which to me, is a positive, especially when amplifying drums or keys.I like that it has dual inputs, which make it useful not just for drums but also for keyboards and synths. I could even see this serve as a practice monitor for vocals, espeically since the amp can sit tilted. Because it's only 30W, it’s not the loudest option around, so it might not be suitable for medium or large gigs, but it's a good fit for home practice or recording spaces. It also includes Bluetooth, although I don't really use this amp with that in mind. Overall, it's an impressive value for its price I would recommend for those on a budget.

Amazing! Small but loud!!!!
The media could not be loaded. You will not be disappointed with this super light, small and loud amp! I love it for my keyboard and even my electric drums!! Such a “crisp” sound!!

It's an okay monitor with not much low end and lots of sharp highs
I want to start this review off by saying that the manufacturer needs to reverse the labels on the knobs panel. If you're using this as a floor monitor (especially if you're using it for electronic drums), you will always look at the knobs from the speaker side of the amp. This means that all of the labels look upside down and make it hard to read when you want to adjust something from the drum throne.Despite that, this is a pretty okay floor monitor. I say just okay because there's not a lot of low-end and lots of piercing high-ends. When listening to music through this speaker, it just sounds like the tweeter part is much louder than the actual speaker itself. I don't know if there's a way to balance it but certain types of music can sound really piercing through this monitor. I took a reading of the EQ profile of the monitor using pink noise running through the line input of the amp. It turns out that there's A LOT of 2kHz peak. There's also some low-end represented in the reading in the 100 hz range, with a sharp drop off in the 60-80 hz range where the subs tend to be. That means there's some low-end but not enough to make this amp sound balanced and representative to what you're trying to amplified. If you're using this for monitoring electronic drums, I would give this monitor a 3-star. If you're using this as a speaker that you could amplify your playlist in the background during parties, then I would give this a 4-star. The lack of low-end makes this amp insufficient for monitoring your electronic drums because you would probably won't hear a lot of the kick drum and your toms will sound very thin. The good thing about this monitor is that it can get pretty loud. Though at full volume, the low-end distorts the speaker and the high-ends get VERY piercing. I would highly suggest that you get a separate EQ unit to help balance out the tonal quality of this amp regardless of what input you use. You can set the EQ knobs at noon and sculpt your sound with an EQ rack/pedal to tamp down the harsh 2k peak in the amp.Lastly, this monitor is very light. I'm surprised that something low-profile and lightweight like an amp could get so loud. Another good thing about this amp is that it doesn't have any grounding noise. I have a Coolmusic 50W guitar amp and that thing buzzes like crazy because it wasn't grounded properly. This is not the case with this amp and the noise level is pretty low. This speaker will work fine in a pinch but if you need a monitor with high-quality tonal response, you may need to look elsewhere.

Pro Quality Drum Machine Monitor
This is great piece of gear for the electronic drummer. I couldn’t believe how punchy it was with the drum machine going. I was actually looking for a small practice amp for my synthesizers and I ran across this thing. Am I glad I did. It sounds real good. It’s extremely well-built and it gets incredibly loud without any distortion. It’s got a good heft to it and there are two aluminum grab handles to help you out. It’s got both a 8” woofer and a 2” tweeter for a balanced sound but, of course, it is a little bottom heavy. There are two inputs with separate volume controls and three standard tone knobs. There are no built in effects. You also get a Bluetooth connection, a USB port and a headphone jack. The case is covered with black vinyl in the pebbly “guitar amp” pattern. It would be a shame to use this just for electronic drums; it’s way more versatile for just that. It would perfect for a solo guitarist or a string bass player in a small club or restaurant. With the Bluebooth connection and your phone, you can even add some prerecorded backing tracks. Add some mikes, a small mixing board and another one of these speakers and a small combo can get real loud. Bluetooth also makes it suitable to use at party or a barbecue with preprogrammed music from your phone. One of the nicest features, though, is its ability to be quiet. There is practically no hiss from the speakers, even with the volume and treble turned all the way up. This is nice little box that I’ll use to record some of my synths live, it makes them sound that good. And to top this all off, this amplifier is an incredible bargain. Coolmusic has been making amps for awhile and people seem to like their products a lot. I’m glad some folks are still making quality equipment that an ordinary musician can afford and be happy with. I really do hate to gush, but this thing is more than worth it. Do not hesitate to buy.

Really good value
They're aren't kidding, this is relatively small but it's loud enough for a small venue.I use it with my edrums and it has no problems reproducing the low frequencies. That being said more bass is always appreciated.I also love the Bluetooth function, I use it daily as regular speakers to stream my podcasts/music while I work.Construction is solid. It feels and looks great. Honestly, no complaint.

Im Back in the band!
Update: I was contacted by the company following my review and the company worked with me to resolve my concerns and I am now quite pleased. If you are looking to use an amp for drums I would go with their higher wattage amps as they are much more capable to handle the peaks and lows of an E drum kit. I found the company super responsive with great customer service. thank you coolmusic for keeping my music cool.I got this for my electric drums bc it said good for electric drums. Well Im here to say its not. It can not handle high pitch of cymbals or deep lows of floor toms. Distortion abound, I shuda clued into this before my expirey to send it back. Im basically outta the band now bc my monitor cant handle my sweet grooves.

Excellent practice amp but volume is limited
The fit and finish of this amp is very nice. All the details are crisp and clean giving the amp a very quality look and feel. The main structure of the amp uses a solid enclosure with an 8” woofer and a 2” tweeter. This gives it more bottom end which makes it really well suited to electronic drums, as it is advertised for, or even a bass guitar, both of which I tried on this amp. The case has two options for standing on its own which is nice; straight up or angled monitor style. Both side have 4 solid rubber feet. On the side is a port for a third mounting option which is on its side on a stand. Very versatile. Total weight is just shy of 12 pounds so it is very easy to move around, especially with the very slick metal handles on the side of the control deck.Connectivity of this unit is quite amazing. First off there are 2 traditional ¼” TS ports to connect the patch cord from your instrument, each of which has it’s own volume control. Next up you can connect your phone or other audio source via a 3.5 mm port to use the amp as a speaker. This port is right below a dedicated volume knob for this function. If that is not enough you can also connect via Bluetooth. In this case the onboard tone controls do not adjust audio but the Bluetooth panel controls will operate your phone; skip track, pause, play and even volume adjust. Lastly you can also plug in a USB stick and play MP3 tracks straight from it. Again here the Bluetooth panel controls can be used for all functions including volume. Outputs there are two alternates; headphones and DI (Direct output which is a balanced output signal). Both of which are very useful depending on how you use the amp. All of the controls are smooth to operate and are intuitive to use. There is of course a manual included but it is so easy to use I didn’t even need to look at it.The overall performance of this amp is solid albeit I find the total volume to be somewhat lacking. At 30A I was expecting a little bit more. With that said I think this is ideally suited for a practice amp when volume is not needed. I do not think it would keep up in a full gig situation with other instruments so for that you will need to go another route. However, if you are looking for a high function practice amp then this one is great.

Not exactly as depicted
This amp sounds ok but is NOT battery powered as listed. Also no port hole is present so low bass notes will cause a vibration that could be irritating to some...
