What a brilliant, easy to use and effective device this is!!! We compiled our anti-tick toolbox well over a year ago, after our little cocker picked up a deer tick and we made a botched, ill-conceived hash of removing the darned thing with normal tweezers. I dreaded ever having to do the same again but bought the amazon multi-pack of different products for when the inevitable repeat performance occurred. Well, it's finally happened and - due to the glowing feedback the Tick Lasso receives - this was our tool of choice. SO glad we did! Followed the simple instructions, and the result was.......................................... Wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful!!!!!!!!! And wonderful again! So easy, so *relatively* stress-free and so brilliantly effective. The whole tick removed, intact, no fuss, quickly and simply. Recommended so very highly.

We've been using these for years to get ticks off the dog (and occasionally children). Takes just a few seconds and every time the tick has detached whole. These things are great, simple but effective.

I've never got on with the tweezers or cards but these things are absolutely superb. Great for plucking the hateful creatures out of hard to reach places such as your back. I've used them successfully down to tiny 1mm across ones too so size doesn't seem to be an issue.

So far I have not had a need to use these. I ordered just in case I need too. Delivered nice and quick. Appear to be one of the best tick removers around.

Tick watch has been a blithering nightmare so far this summer, my double doodle puppy has had her nose in everything and most times come out of the long grass with a tick. Tried lots of other removers but with such a hairy wool coat if we could get to the tick had terrible problems getting it all out even with 2 persons! Enter the tick lasso! It is genius in its simplicity. The fine lasso is easy to activate, on my own, caught vey little hair got right to the base of the tick and removed it quickly and in ONE PIECE! A first ! And there was no bump left by the irritation they cause from removal normally or the teeth remaining. I won't lie I did a little dance. And it has made me much less fearful of the nightmare of removing them and I'm sure my puppy would agree in recommending the wonderful very effective tick lasso. It's now 2023! Still using the same tick lasso, have 3 actually , one in the house, car and walking bag. They are a god send. Even used it on myself!!

Ok, so I have had 3 of these unused in my pet essentials tub. My son had found a tic tonight after a long country hike and I remembered this. Also remembered another tip from a friend who told me that putting a drop of olive oil on the tic works (suffocates it?)… anyway, I used a clean syringe I’d kept from pet medicine to drop a tiny bit of olive oil on the tic, went in with the lasso and honestly within a second the tic was out. RELIEF & smiles all round. I would now say it’s an essential item for any medicine box. The little push end easily opens up the lasso tip, and it’s all quick, easy and painless . No panic, non scary effective solution. I’m going to recommend to all who will listen!

It’s a very good idea but I personally find it difficult to use but that could just be that I need more practice

I'm a wild hedgehog rehabilitator and have removed many a tick over the years and have tried every sort of tick remover on the market, and none are 100% sucessful, so thought I'd give the lasso a try. It's brilliant, so easy, and because the lasso is so small and thin I've been able to get ticks from deep inside the hog's ears - something that was just impossible with a hook, and too dangerous with tweezers. And it's so quick to use, which is a number one priority when dealing with a wild animal, and therefore reduces the stress involved with treatment. Also it's so easy to release the caught tick, just by opening the lasso again (over a jar of water), instead of having to scrape the tick out (when using a hook). A very clever and indispensable tool.
