Informative and colorful
Love this book!! I looked through it before I gave it as a gift and I wanted to buy one myself. It has lots of images and is very informational without it being "knitty gritty school text book". I gifted it to a friend that has interest in history and architecture and he was excited for it. It breaks it down by era and discusses what the culture focused in and why they built it the way they did. Very interesting and colorful book. Great reading and as a coffee table book.

A really lovely book with wonderful coloured pictures of architecture around the world and dating back in time until the present time. I bought it for my grandson who wants to be an architect. It is very heavy due to the size and glossy pages. Good value for the money.
