Peace of mind
Your probably wondering why the review title?... Sunday night around 11pm my kitchen pipes burst! Thank goodness I have a neighbor in construction who has one of these tools. That could have ended up costing me a lot of money! My plumber informed me that because of where the hole was a shut off valve under the sink would have done no good. So I'd recommend this to anyone with a water main shut off! I worried it might be a bit short for the job, it's not. Quality materials, nice hand gross and our comes with an attachment for other types of meters.

Nicely built, good price
Very nice quality. Nice price. The added key is a nice extra, but there are no utility covers in my yard that requires such a key.

Not a useful tool
This is a sample wrench not anything serious. I would have to kneel down to use it. I would like to have returned it but would have to take it to a UPS store and that’s an 80 mile trip. I ordered the wrong item.

Great product
Very useful tool, great for tight spaces . Also love the different connectors that came with it. Definitely a must have!

This will save me water!
Last winter the water line to the irrigation system was covered to prevent it freezing. But the line to the irrigation system was not. We had a busted water line pouring water into the street. Lots of water. I did not have a water key. It was at least 30 minutes more likely 60 minutes of water running down the street until we were able to get someone with a water key to come and turn off the water and fix the problem.I needed this key. I don't have need for it every day, every week, or even every month. But without it I can't shut off the water to the house. This should be a requirement for every house that has a water valve at the street.Since it's not something I will use a lot I needed to be sure it was visible when it is next needed. Hopefully not in an emergency. It is in a very visible spot on the tool wall. Of course it's been tested. I needed to know it and I could turn off the water. There are some versions that are longer, but this one works nicely and fits in a place of importance on my tool wall

Sturdy water meter key
This is a must have water meter key. It is easy to use the material is strong and I think it will last forever.It also included a tool to close different valves. Now I feel confident that in case of emergency leak I don’t have to wait for the plumber to arrive and close the main line. Highly recommend.
