Handexer Thumb Spica Splint and Wrist Brace - Adjustable Support for de Quervain's Tenosynovitis, Tendonitis, Arthritis, Sprains, Fractures, Trigger Type - Effective Pain Relief（Right Hand）

I am in front of a computer and typing all day and typically have wrist/hand issues that flare up. I have been looking for a good wrist brace that also supports my thumb since I am noticing some pain in that area as well. Upon putting this brace on, I felt the difference of support right away on both my wrist and thumb. As someone with tiny hands/wrist, it’s sometimes difficult to find a size-fits-all brace and this one worked wonderfully. I think having 4 different ways to adjust the sizing really helped with that.I found that I was still able to type while wearing this brace with my four fingers, although since there is limited mobility with my thumb, I found that I was not able to click on the space bar with it. No issues there though since I thankfully still have my left thumb to press the space bar with.Not 5 stars only because I wore this on a super hot day and noticed that ventilation is a bit limited. A majority of the material is mesh so your hand and wrist can still breathe, but not much. It’s still comfortable to wear but I found myself having to take it off from time to time in 90F temperature because I was getting too hot. It could just be a personal preference sine I am sensitive to heat.All in all, I would still strongly recommend this product if you are experience some kind of pain on your hand, wrist and thumb. It limits movement on where you need it to limit movement but you are still able to use your hand if you really need to.

easy to wear but a little uncomfortable.

If you've ever had de Quervain's Tendonitis, you know how painful it is when you move your thumb upwards a little bit. This thumb brace does a good job in immobilizing it. You first slip it on, taking care that your thumb goes in its pocket. Then start securing the 3 wrist straps, starting with the bottom one. That's what worked best for me. Finally, tighten the little strap around your thumb. All the straps secure with a Velcro-type closure. I find the brace holds the thumb quite well, only giving it a slight bit of wiggle room. I do find the body of the brace a bit bulky in the palm of my hand but I was able to use the hand to grip large things like coffee mugs. Overall, this brace is pretty nice and comes at a reasonable price. I'll be keeping it at the ready for the next time my de Quervain's flares up.

This brace has great support for wrist and thumb and so far, seems very well made. The material inside is comfortable but not ventilated well enough, after 5 minutes my hand is sweating. Also, found it to be too restrictive to wear while computing. Overall great brace just a bit warm.

The brace works as a wrist brace and has the thumb brace built in as well. It immobilizes the thumb comfortably. The one downside is there isn't any padding for the palm of the hand so it may not be as comfortable to wear overnight of extended periods of time.

this brace is the real deal. i love the way that it holds your thumb in particular. it keeps your thumb perfectly steady and so secure that it was nearly impossible to move that part of my hand as well. you may think that this is the norm, but it is not. it has the hard rod along that side as well i believe so your hand feels supported in more than one place. it has three bands that really make it adjustable so you can add the amount of pressure that you prefer to keep the hand steady and immobilized. after one day, my hand felt great, usually i have to use it for a few days before i actually feel true relief.

Although you might find some wrist and thumb braces cheaper, this is a sturdy well-made brace. You could do worse.
