High leverage end cutters that both cut and pull nails and even small screws
Knipex makes some of the best hand tools on the planet. I own 8-10 pair their pliers and cutters and they are all excellent quality. They are not cheap but when I'm working and the tool goes on vacation, I'm not happy.Pro:-Long handles on the 12 inch, lots of leverage-German forged quality-Fit easily in my tool bag and tool box-Can cut 12 penny nails and work as a nail pulled as well-Great tools reward the user with great results and when folks see that your tools are high quality, it's an indication that you do quality work.Con:-Pricey - but when I have that oddball nail hidden on some trim that I need to dispatch quickly and it's slowing me down, these cutters will work.Hope that helps!

Very strong, cut great
I bought these to cut 12 gauge stainless steel quilting pins at work. They cut through like butter. I originally had an 8" pair of the blue handled brand that cut them well, but they wore out. I then tried to replace them with the 10" Yellow handle ones, thinking they'd certainly be better, being a major name brand and all, but I was wrong. I couldn't cut them with all my might, so I returned them for a pair of these, and they are the best I've owned so far. Hope that helps. I originally posted a more in-depth review, but I think my inclusion of the other name brands got my review denied, so we will try it this way and see what happens.

Good tool excelent price
The nipper worked as advertised. I needed to cut several dozen nails to redo some facia. I tried a comparable priced nipper from Harbor Freight. It was useless. Very happy with this tool.

Knipex is the best!
Other brands (Channellock, Klein, Irwin) nips just don't hold up as long. The knipex is made of a higher steel. I work 80-hrs/wk doing rebar and these last about 4 months (compared to <1 month for the other brands!)Hard to find Knipex HIGH LEVERAGE nippers in North American Stores though. A few select ones carry them, but usually not the High Leveage ones, and if so, often most sizes/models are not available. Ordered on Amazon, got the size & grips I wanted - as saved $20.

awesome
I had some 3/16 screws behind the drip edge of an eve after removing the fascia board. These cutter go through roofing nails like butter. The screws were tough. I used two pipes to extend the handles for more leverage. It was still a tough cut but it worked. I cut ~20+ screws and the cutting edge still looks good as new.

Bigger is better
Much longer than my last pair of knipex nail pullers, to the point where it’s an awkward fit in my carpenters bags, but all that extra handle length means a lot of extra leverage, which means they’re much easier to use and deliver better results.I think they also cut a little more flush than my shorter pair, so that’s another plus.

Broke first day on the job
they broke first day when I cut a 16 penny duplex nail. Thought it might be a faulty pair. Tried getting a replacement with no luck. terrible customer service.
