Got this for my husband as he doesn’t like his phone in his pocket. He used it for about an hour until his 1st call came in. After answering he found it impossible to put the phone back in the holder while clipped to his belt. Needless to say it’s now in a drawer.

I like the weight of it and the convenience. I prefer my phone on my belt and not in my purse where I can't get at it. I've had a lot of trouble with other clips due to their excessive weight and this solves that problem. There are TWO issues: (1). No durability. I have had 2 break in 6 months. (2) It’s not made to accommodate a protective phone case. The two sides that hold the phone don't go over the edges when I have the phone in its case. As a consequence, it falls out of the clip regularly. If the company would simply make it a 1/8” deeper it would work better.

Within the first week the top of the belt clip stand tab chipped off but was still functional. A month after purchase the release tab broke on one side but still semi functional and possibly fixable. I would consider buying again however I'd look for something better.

It’s seems relatively sturdy and fits my iphone 11 with and OtterBox case as if it were made specifically for it. If you have a smaller phone it may feel bulky or oversized. I previously owned a similar universal clip from ghost tech (another amazon seller). This one if far superior. When I inboxed it the retractable part was very stiff and sticky. Maybe it’s supposed to be that way because it’s brand new but a squirt of wd40 took care of it. The only other downside I noticed is that the clip itself doesn’t seem to be made of very strong plastic. Only time will tell but as of now I’m very satisfied and would recommed. If your torn between this and the ghost tech version definitely go with this one.

Wanted it for an old unused phone counter app for grillingWorked for a couple of times but the hard plastic clip designed to keep unit open for display mode is too flimsy. The plastic lip that is supposed to keep it open is too flimsy for the strong spring pressure exerted

I like to have different cases for my device,(S21 plus) but I can't "show em off" if they're in a covered holster. I didn't know this existed! Anyway I bought one, lasted for a month,(the main part with the spring bars broke off)only because I figured out that I was using it wrong. It's like the picture in the description, the spring bars face upwards, so when you put your 📱 in, you push upwards with your 📱 (kinda like at an angle) to open the spring bars then you release it to the bottom half, so it clamps it. The rubber grips hold it securely. But anyway, it works for me, planning to buy another one (a third) just to have it before I see that "this item is no longer available, don't know if or when we'll carry it again "(may not have quoted it exactly)
