I bought these with the intentions of hanging light bars in the topper of my truck, so I didn't have to drill holes, they worked out great and they have no problems holding on my cap pack frame. The stud is 1/4-20 and my light frames slipped right on and bolted down.

I ordered these magnets to help retain the CRAFTEC tonneau cover framework down on my El Camino. I 3D printed retainers that allow these magnets to be bolted into the retainer and then the framework. Then installed steel brackets on the car for the magnets to cling to. These magnets provide the exact amount of retention force so that the cover will never lift off the car when driving down the road, but I can still open the cover by grabbing the tailgate ends of the cover and pop it off the magnet's strength. And I mean the PERFECT amount of magnetic strength using 2 of these magnets. I'm a very happy customer!

Have a client that wantted electric in shipping containers but didn’t want me to drill holes. Hung boxes with these & 1/4-20 bolts.

You know when you buy an RC car and it says goes 30mph, but it only goes 13mph lol. I had the same expectation as that with these. However I placed just 2 of these magnets to a 45 pound circle weight which I attached to a metal bar across my ceiling.It held no problem, I still had to use force to remove it!
