Heavy Duty Carpet Chair Mat Thick and Sturdy Transparent Chair mat for Low Pile Carpets Size 36" X 48" with Lip

It's a decent mat, the problem is with the "teeth" underneath and the smell. The mat moves around on the floor because the teeth don't dig into the carpet enough, or at least for my carpet (it's pretty deep). The mat does indent quite a bit as well, which you would think would help with the mat not moving as the teeth can dig deeper, but that is not the case.The smell! I've tried everything, and I cannot get rid of the smell of plastic in the room from the mat. I've got two air fresheners in the room and have aired the place out multiple times and used fans directly on the mat. It is still here. I don't know what else to do at this point. Unfortunately I got rid of the box that it came in otherwise I may think about returning it.

My mat fits under my office chair in the basement and helps keep my office chair from wearing out the underlying carpeting. I'm happy with the mat. However, it was shipped between two pieces of cardboard like bread. Whoever transported it, did so on edge. I suppose the heat buildup in the truck melted the mat and it deformed. When I got it, it was not flat along one edge, instead it was scalloped. This made rolling my chair on it miserably bumpy. So, I used an electric hair dryer and a nice flat piece of wood to iron it back out. Not perfect, but it's good enough now.

I paid $15 for this 3 years ago. It has now doubled in price but I doubt it has doubled in quality. I didn't start using it immediately because I was preparing to move. So, I've only been using it for 2.5 years and it's literally disintegrating under my chair, with large chunks of plastic breaking apart/out of it in the middle. My previous mat lasted 5+ years but this one was not as thick and certainly not as durable. It should last longer than 2.5 years in my opinion but then again, I did only pay $15 for it. I would not pay the $30+ they are now asking for it though.

This mat is shipped rolled tightly and is not ready to use right away. It can take two people to unroll them, weighing them down as you go. We unrolled the three mats we received, nubby side up, weighted them down with boxes, and left them overnight. They were still slightly curled up in the morning but flattened out quickly once we flipped them over and laid them down. Good mats, just don't expect to use them same-day.

I bought this to replace my 10 year old carpet mat witch was starting to break apart, this is nice high quality, my only issue is that it came tightly rolled up, I had to wrestle with rolling it out in front of my wood stove and laying heavy objects on it to try and soften it up and get it to lay flat, I am using it at my desk now but it still has ripples in it.

Purchased this to place on short pile berber carpet. I'm going to keep it however it's too flexible and my chair does sink slightly into the mat (I weigh 185 lbs.). My biggest issue is that the spikes are not holding the mat in place. When I slide my chair away from the desk, it moves a little each time. Constantly having to pick it up and put back into place. Won't buy this again.

Way too thin, always moving, always curling up. Just not what I wanted. Cheap. I guess I got what I paid for.

This product is exactly what I needed at a great price. I chose this product to order based on the price, size, and the fact that it specifically said that it ships FLAT...which it did NOT. It was rolled up. Luckily it didn't take long to flatten out. Otherwise, very happy with this purchase.
