Upright Walker with Seat, Foldable Stand Up Walker with Rubber Tires

This is the greatest thing since God invented dogs. I have suffered from serious back issues for 28 years. For the past year I've been essentially bed ridden due to severe sciatica, my leg giving out without warning several times a day and deathly fear of falling among many other reasons. My poor dog and I have gained so much weight it's beyond tragic. I just couldn't take it anymore. I started researching walkers and found the perfect one for my needs. Sturdy enough to sustain daily long walks. Doesn't fall over easily. It's perfect for traveling to my grandchildren's sporting events which I've been embarrassingly absent from and most importantly allows me to walk upright, not painfully hunched over. It's not exceedingly expensive, relatively simple to assemble, very easy to push and rolls over torn up sidewalks easily. I love this thing. I've been given my life back. And at 23 lbs. it isn't prohibitively heavy. If you are looking for a decent upright walker, look no more. Trust me! This is the one.

This is a very solidly built Rollator. I’m able to stand upright which alleviates my back problems and numbness in my hands caused by a normal height Rollator. it’s adjustable and stable. The cupholder on the side is a nice idea, but it’s makes the rollator so wide I dumped a half a cup of coffee on the floor because it got tipped as I went through the doorway. being able to walk upright is huge. I keep this one at home and I keep a short rollator in my car. It’s easier to transport than this one. It is sturdy and a little on the heavy side. It’s very maneuverable, especially outside and extremely sturdy. I love the green color. It fits me well and it’s a nice size. I’m 5 foot seven and it fits me perfectly but it will adjust down to as low as 5 feet tall and supposedly it will work for somebody who’s over 6 feet tall. I can’t vouch for over 6 feet tall because I’m not that tall.

My husband who is 6’4” and 80 is having serious complications from arthritis which have required shoulder surgeries and now a hip replacement. I thought this roller was overkill when we first pulled it out of the box. But I am 5’4” and 76 and it’s a large frame that weighs 20+ lbs - the good news is it folds easily, the brakes lock and the spacing between the arms allows him great flexibility and stability. Yesterday we took it to the hospital where he was undergoing a biopsy. We were not so grateful to have it to guide him and hold belongings along the way down those halls. Out doors it works well. I wish there was some suggestion about how to roll it whe it is folded. The wheels overlap each other and it caused it to topple once as I headed out to the car before he came out on a wheel chair. It is easy to get in the back of my Kia Telluride - but I think it could be a problem for smaller vehicles to contain. Anyway - it works well in the house too. We got another smaller Helavo without the seat to use at home but he really likes the security of the all terrain model. The solid rubber wheels are a little more difficult to get over some thresholds and moldings but it’s been a great purchase so far. The cup attachment is not so good for home as it sticks out and rubs on door frames etc. regardless - husband happy and wife’s life is easier! Thanks

As far as comfort goes this thing feels like a dream to walk with. My back is straight. I am 5' 10" and I have my height set at "8". That's almost the max. This is a solid built device that rolls with ease and is very flexible once you get comfortable with it. The brakes seem very light and easy to wear out going downhill a lot. We will see as I explore more. But I can easily control the speed by leaning on the arm rests more with my elbows and upper body. ARMREST PADS BOUGHT SEPARATELY ARE A CHEAP AND GOOD INVESTMENT. This helps me slow down instead of using the brakes first. Although this seems very well made. I do have some Cons that need to be addressed so buyers can see what I see. First, the size and bulk of this rig. It weighs over 20 lbs and is very wide and bulky on the bottom. I am at my limit putting this in a car or my subaru. In cars, I often need to pull the top half off while being very careful with the cables still attached. It does fold together in one piece very well. But breaking it down to fit in a car gets very complicated for a disabled person who may be elderly or severely disabled. If the rear forks could somehow possibly telescope in a little for transport. It may help a lot more. Secondly, is the sheer size of the rig. Although it pushes with the greatest of ease and I can stand and walk upright to ease the pain in my back. This this needs space.to get down aisles and through some doorways. Crowded spaces and clutter are not your friens with this. The cane holder on this is a nice thing that they added. Just be careful it doesn't get knocked off in transport or tight doorways. I do however pick up the handle on the seat and the walker. It comes together to maker it skinnier to fit through tight spaces and rolls just fine. LIFE IS INCONVENIENT SOMETIMES, WE CARRY ON! If Helavo could help with the ease of transport of this beauty and maybe the possible brake wear confidence. I WOULD GIVE THIS A 5 STAR FOR SURE. There is no doubt it goes together well and does what it is designed for. It slightly misses the mark of ease of use for the population who needs this. I have made so many recommendations to other people. I should be a brand rep and get commission! Everywhere I go, people want to know where to get one. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I needed a walker that makes me stand up straight. I have a crumbling spine in the lumbar area. I realized that all of the standard walkers were making me hunch over to use them. At 5'10", I could adjust them high enough to keep this from happening. This walker has been a game changer for me. I have found the perfect settings to help me walk with my back straight. I can tell it's working as all the muscles around the lumbar area are firing, and frankly hurt. But it's a much different kind of pain than when I was putting strain on the lumbar. Normal spines have a curvature of 25-35 degrees in this area. Mine is only 9 degrees. This means that any leaning forward causes severe pain that then shoots throughout my body. There are a couple things to know about this walker though, that may affect your decision to buy it. 1. It is big and a bit cumbersome when putting it into or taking out of our van. The arms can be adjusted down easily, to make it fit in a slightly smaller space, like a trunk in a sedan. 2. The bag has to be removed in order to fold it up. The bag removes easily though, it's just a nuscience. 3. It's a bit heavier than the regular walkers, so it will take a bit more strength to lift it in and out of the car. 4. There are included handles that attach at a lower point on the "arm" extensions. I don't need these so I didn't attach them. I'm seeing a neurosurgeon next week to determine what comes next, but whatever I decide, this walker will be my new companion. Highly recommend.

I am a 77 year ol lady who borrowed a walker from a friend following a fall (i am certainly too old to fall! Hope it helps to know i lost my footing getting off the boat at the marina! Only one foot got wet but found myself with my toes on the boat a torso on the dock. Took some doing to hoist myself onto the dock so i could get up). I came away from the experience very shaken and wanted to try the walker to make sure i could stay upright. I was amazed about how helpful the walker was and how much it helped with my breathing issues. (That was a pleasant surprise). I noticed after a day of use the walker was leaving marks on my hardwood floors from the draggy back legs of the walker. As i have been very interested in the stand-up walkers i had seen i decided to order one and try it out. The Helavo was on special price and had a fast delivery date, so i went for it. I have found it to be transformative! I feel like i can walk for ever! Soooo, decided i need one for the car and one for the house as i am fearful of my hubby or me falling on the front steps hauling the thing to the car. Helavo was no longer on "special price" so shopped and ordered a different one for the car. Imagine my surprise when my hubby put it together and it's moniker I Flying Joy! How cool is that? It is very similar to Helavo, just a scoosh smaller turning radius ( which is helpful). The handles in front of the brakes are a little more female hand friendly and a scoosh lighter. I think it will be perfect for my out and about walker. Now, lets hope i can swallow my pride and get out there and rejoin the world. If you are hesitation about this purchase. I say go for it! I call it freedom!

This was purchased as a gift for my nearly 80y/o dad following hip surgery. He loves his standard rollator, but it's ultimately doesn't adjust tall enough for his height; this upright is perfect for that adjustment. I tested this for him during assembly and find it comfortable to use. I'm an average to slim build 190lb male and and find the seat width tight if I sat down. It does for up fairly small for easy transport or storage, but you must remember to remove the small duffel bag first. Assembly was a chore and confusing on which way to turn certain parts. I had to utilize both the instruction manual and find an online video...something my father would not have been able to accomplish. I'm still getting some rotation of the brake handle despite locking the mechanism into place. I see this as being a major safety concern. The rollator seams sturdy enough, but I'm capable and don't use it for support as my dad would. If the manufacturer reads this, please include a small wrench for the brake adjustment as the nuts are so small. Brakes for all 4 wheels would also be beneficial. My long term rating for this walker is still undecided, but I can definitely see the benefits of this upright rollator over the traditional style.

Recovering from my second knee replacement. I have used regular rollator walkers in the past (for my first knee replacement recovery) but this time found my upper arms did not have the strength and that I found that I am unstable moving about. This upright walker has worked out perfectly. Very easy to maneuver and to push from hardwood unto carpet. I am 5' 7", am using the middle height placement. Three days out from the surgery, the support of this walker gave me the ability to walk the length of our house.

I bought this due to a knee injury I've been trying to recover from for several months. It allows me to walk properly erect while giving me stability and enabling me to take some weight off my knee. It's sturdy enough that we can go shopping and when I tire, my spouse pushes me around. We found it easy enough to assemble. The video and the instruction booklet are useful, you simply need to follow the instructions and use a bit of common sense. The only con is while sitting, it's best to lower the handles to the bottom to have at least some arm reach but even then, it does limit you a bit.

Para mí ha sido muy satisfactorio éste andador, primero soy una persona alta y muchos andadores que veía, me tenía que inclinar un poco. Debido a mis dolores lumbares, necesitaba un andador que estuviera derecha y también al tener reposa brazos, me ayudas apoyarme mucho mejor cuando los dolores apretaba y el cansancio crónico que padezco también. La única pega es el asiento, es demasiado fino y muy plástico y creo que para el precio que tiene, debería mejorar. Por lo demás todo muy bien.
