I didn't really need all these adapters right now but using many devices with different adapters I figured it would be potentially very useful to be able to use this if anything broke anywhere. I needed something as a backup for my laptop lead. It would fit many other devices I have if their leads had issues and I needed them before I could get a replacement so peace of mind. Handy case too. A bit longer lead would be nice but otherwise it all seems very solid and reliable so far.

This cable and adapter set is a convenient solution for older laptops with unique power connectors or geeks like myself who have a large range of devies. It helps avoid the frustration of misplaced chargers by making them compatible with USB-C PD adapters. You won't need those big, unreliable universal chargers anymore.The set includes a 1.2-meter cable with a USB-C plug on one end and fifteen interchangeable laptop plugs on the other. These plugs can easily fit different laptop models. They connect to the cable through a socket. The plastic bag holding these plugs has clear labels, showing which plug works with major laptop brands. This cable and plugs can handle up to 100 Watts, which is usually enough for these laptops.One cool feature is the Smart Auto voltage selection. It uses a special chip (PD3.0 E-marker) to automatically detect and use the right voltage (20V) from any PD charger. This means you don't have to mess with voltage and power settings; it does it for you.The cable is tough with a strong PVC cover and sturdy strain reliefs at both ends. This makes it durable and less likely to break from bending. The set also includes a plastic bag for storage. It's a bit bigger than needed, but it keeps everything organized.I tested the cable with a Lenovo gaming laptop. The laptop powered on and charged without any problems with draining quicker than charging so all good. Unsure the general power efficiency so would be interesting to test with a power monitor.

The media could not be loaded. PD USB C to DC Adapter Connector for Laptop Charger - I think this is by far one of the best products I have bought this year.I am using it with a power station to avoid using AC while charging my laptop and instead to use DC and change my laptop via the USB C port with 100W.The cable and the adapters are exceptional quality.You can charge all the main laptop makers.You can also change various other compatible devices.I definitely recommend.

My partner's laptop doesn't charge via USB C, a fact we realised when we assumed it did, without testing it..and ended with a flat battery when trying to use our GaN USB charger on the go.Well, bit of an annoyance, but eh, not the end of the world, after all it's a smallish laptop and has a relatively tiny charging brick.But when I saw this adapter on the Vine review program list, it hit me as sheer genius. Why carry two bricks when you can carry one small phone charger and two CABLES instead?Received it in a plain cardboard box, the tips themselves are in a plastic zipbag with a label detailing what brand each tip fits (the code that corresponds on the tip is a bit small/faded, only down point for me, but then I'm getting old and my eyes are not what they used to be), as well as the cable itself (with a strong plug to add the tip, it's not going to ping off), and, nice touch, a little fabric zipped bag to carry your cable and tip/s you require on the go. (and it allows a phone charger inside too, rather useful feature)I tried it on a few oldish laptops, and it worked perfectly on them (asus, toshiba and acer), though they are plain laptops and not gaming ones, of course (these would require more juice), using both a 67W and 120W chargers from Xiaomi, and a 100W one from OPPO, all just fine.Altogether a really useful pice of kit for people with a slightly ageing laptop who are on the go quite often and are trying to lug less stuff around.

This USB-C powered adapter kit contains fifteen interchangeable tips, like a universal power supply, but it is much more focussed, with a fixed output voltage and non-reversible tips. meaning the polarity of the mainly-concentric plugs can't be changed. it is designed to power a large range of notebooks and laptops, and the tips are numbered, and a chart provided to help pick the correct one for any particular machine. JBL speakers are shown in the listing, but I can't see them in the application chart. I used one of the concentric tips to power an in-car media display, as an alternative to the bulky cigarette lighter adaptor lead, and it works well, but that sort of thing needs to be done with caution. If an application is not listed, it's better to check with the maker.
