When your busy time to make soup, It is easy to make broth for a shorter time.

While reading comments here, I've started to suspect that many people might not be well-informed about this product. It's because they frequently mention that it doesn't dissolve well in water or lacks flavor. However, I believe they make such comments because they aren't familiar with how to use this product properly. This product is not a seasoning; it's intended for making the fundamental broth for soups. Some individuals complain that these tablets don't dissolve easily. But you see, these tablets are not meant to dissolve in hot water; you should put them in vigorously boiling water to dissolve them. They are meant to be used alongside various other ingredients to enhance the flavor of the broth. I occasionally add a few of these tablets to dishes like ramen, hot pot, or miso soup.

I use couple of these tablets when making my soondubu, and adds great clean flavor to my tofu stew. It's not spicy, but does have a small amount of spice to it. You do have to add at least couple of tablets if you're making one dolsot pot of stew. I also make clear broth with it as a base for japanese noodle soup. I can't wait to try the other flavors. I Love it!

Can't use because it has shellfish in it. Not completely anchovy based.
