⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Fast, Functional & Fits Perfectly its also Super Handy and Works Great!
This 8-in-1 Type-C adapter is everything I needed in one sleek hub! It fits snugly in my USB-C port and instantly expanded my laptop’s options. The USB 3.0 ports are fast—perfect for transferring large files quickly. I love the variety: USB 2.0, USB-C, SD/TF card slots, and even an audio jack! It’s compact, doesn’t overheat, and the connection stays solid. No setup needed—just plug and go. Great fit, great speed, and super functional for work, school, or travel. Highly recommend!

Does the job and adds what Apple left out
Added this to my new MacBook Air M4. Regular USB ports for mouse and keyboard. I'm able to attach my 27" monitor without a hitch. I can also slip in an SD card from my camera. Does the job for me and not expensive. Of course, it would be nice if Apple added a few ports for mic input, SD cards as well as at least one extra Type A USB port.

I would avoid this hub at all costs. Don't make the mistakes I did.
Although this claims to be a USB3.x hub, plugging a USB3.2 device into it (see photo) showed up on a USB2 part of the tree, yielding terrible read/write speeds of about 40MB/s, whereas plugging the same drive (a Samsung T7 Shield) directly into the computer yielded speeds almost 40x faster. It gets worse. On one of the two units I bought, the USB-c ports stopped working altogether after about a month (the photo is of the second one I had purchased as an extra. You can see the first one in the background). It gets worse, still. There seems to be some strange interaction between the ports. If I plugged just one device into the hub, I could see the device. If I plugged in 2 or 3 (especially if they were a combination of the USB-c and USB-a ports), some devices wouldn't show up.It gets even worse. I had a Sabrent Rocket XTRM 2TB drive plugged into it along with a couple of other external SSD and thumb drives, and the device started resetting a few times per minute (with the devices showing up, then MacOS complaining that the volumes were removed without properly ejecting, then they'd show up, then removed, etc., until, eventually, the APFS tables on the SSD got corrupted, and I lost all of the data from it.I've learned my lesson. No more buying cheap, no-name components for my data storage.

Love The Port Variety, But One Does Not Work
For the most part this hub is great, but after a couple of weeks, one of the USB ports stopped working. I could have returned it, but the window has already closed and I never snagged it from my office to do so. It is very lightweight and plugs in easily. I just wished all ports worked. Because of this, I have not overloaded it.

2 USB 2.0 ports failed after a year
This worked really well for what I needed. I bought a laptop extender for my Dell so I could have 3 screens as I work remote. A year later after purchase, 2 of the USB 2.0 ports failed and my 2 extenders just stopped working and switched to the laptop screen. Luckily it had 2 extra USB ports (3.0 and another 2.0) that I was able to get them back up and running again. If you do purchase, make sure you buy an extra to have on hand if it fails.
