The masks are very soft to the touch and are moulded so they fit onto the face. They are even shaped to fit around the bridge of the nose so there should be no gaps to allow light in to disturb your sleep. I'm not exactly sure what type of material is used but they are very soft & silky to the touch and appear to have what feels like very soft memory foam around the eye sockets. The strap is made from a thin elasticated material with Velcro on the end so you can adjust the strap easily to fit your head.In use these are very comfortable to wear, they fit snugly to my face blacking out all light. Although around the moulded nose piece I can occasionally see light creep in when I move around on my pillow but this is not enough to disturb my sleep. Bought to replace both my daughters' old sleep masks. They fit them both well.The masks come in a little pouch. Seems well made and good quality. My girls love the designs on the front and says the masks are very comfortable.Very pleased with the price I paid and with my purchase.
