No wasted space on Tablature
Great selections,I haven't seen any mistakes yet, it has the old school concise notation for left and right hand fingerings instead of the tablature that most newer books have that makes you have to turn pages three times as often.

Quality Arrangements
I've had this for a short time and have played 3 arrangements picked at random. A sonata from Diabelli, a famous tune from Debussey and Tarrega's 'Recuerdos de la Allhombre' which is the last piece in the book. All of these tunes are intermediate to advanced level. The notes are dark so easily visible. There is no tablature which is fine by me and no recording which is also fine by me. You've heard most of these pieces before and if not, the music is an excellent documentation. I used to be a tab guy but now I'm a notation guy. Notation is better for your brain. It sparks musical memory which is a hallmark of any good musician. There is less clutter on the page. Less trees have to die. Julian must be an awesome guitarist and musician. Thanx !

Its a okay book
Nice tunes but no special instruction for the tunes. Not for a beginner. The level is demanding. Thou some tunes are easy. I our days most tunes are found on the internet. Could be used as an instruction. And the level is rising everywhere.

Wrong notes!
I noticed that there were many wrong notes on the classic piece La Catedral when compared to other published versions. I haven't checked other pieces in this book but beware when you learn from this material you may be learning wrong notes.

Beautiful Collection
Its hard for me thesedays to find a collection without a lot of repetition, but this book is great - new composers and some beautiful new pieces. You are never to old to learn something new no matter how long you've been playing or how good you are.Let's face it anything endorsed by Julian Bream is going to be first class anyway!

Great Fingering Suggestions
I bought it for the fingering suggestions. And it did not disappoint. There are so many wonderful pieces in this book. It is a treasure to be able to work on pieces that have stood the test of time.
