Where's Waldo? The Wow Collection: Six Amazing Books and a Puzzle

My husband and I grew up with the Where’s Waldo? books in the 90s. Our 5 year old daughter got gifted a similar book for young girls and we decided we needed to get her these since they require finer attention to detail.This paperback set comes in a cool box, or technically slipcase since it is 3 sides with an opening, with 6 of the 7 main books currently in print and an 80 piece puzzle. If you remove the puzzle and get the 7th book, there is a place for it with the rest of the set. The slipcase, which has a shiny “foil” for the red part, and books are pretty big at about 13 inches tall and 10 inches wide. The books are Where’s Waldo?, Where’s Waldo Now?, Where’s Waldo? The Fantastic Journey, Where’s Waldo? In Hollywood, Where’s Waldo? The Wonder Book and Where’s Waldo? The Great Picture Hunt!. The puzzle is actually a Waldo hunt too when it is put together.I do not really remember any of the Waldo books from my childhood except the first one, but my husband enjoyed them when he was little and wanted to share the memory with our daughter, so we got this set. We have been working a page with her every night since we got it. My husband has actually sat down with the book afterwards and insisted on finding all the extra things on the page as well like the scroll, bone, binoculars, etc, if we were not able to find it in the time we worked it with our daughter!All in all, the set is great. The pages are jam packed and there are tons of things to find and even more things listed in the back. It is hours and hours worth of fun for people of all ages. I wish we had been able to find the hardcover set but we are happy with this paperback set too, especially since it came with a puzzle and a slipcase to protect the books.

There are seven books in the core Where's Waldo, this set includes 6 of them only lacking "The Incredible Paper Chase" which in my opinion is the weakest in the series (it has pop outs and games and is a departure from the other books)The puzzle is whatever but if you buy the 7th book In paper back it is the same size as the puzzle so you can keep all 7 in this box which is nice.I debated on the paperback but once you open the books you forget the cover, the only downside is you're afraid to flatten the spine as much as you would with a hard cover.Size Is great, pages are heavy but have a nice matte feel so your fingers down grip on them. Wish it had all 7 instead of a goofy puzzle but for the price it is great.

This is a boxed set of all the softcover Where's Waldo books. I gave this product only 4 stars since when I ordered it, it was described as a hardcover book and made no mention that this was a boxed set and did not mention the books were softcover at all. The description has since changed to better reflect the product.I got this because I loved the Where's Waldo books as a 7 year old child. My 2 year old and I enjoyed looking at the pictures and finding people doing silly things, but she doesn't yet understand the concept of finding Waldo. I found things as an adult that I never saw as a kid and have a better appreciation for the series. Great gift for kids of all ages, even better gift for adults born in the 80s who enjoyed the books as a child.

since covid lock down for seniors over 65 I have been suggesting and buying mind stimulating games for my parents and my dad tried this the other day and told me he found Waldo once! Ha...I find myself looking for Waldo when I'm at their house!

This product is great! We love the challenge the books give us and completing them together!

Even as our grandkids grow older--they still carry a fondness for the Where's Waldo books.

It's next to impossible to find the huge sized, hardcover editions of this book that we all remember from childhood. This set, however, is a nice compromise. They aren't small (some of the Waldo books are about the size of a flimsy Berenstein Bears book). These are large (though a bit smaller than the 'old' books) and they are paperback. The set comes in a sturdy cardboard box to keep the set together and protected. The only drawback is that you can't open the book and lay it flat to look over the pages, but that's only a very minor annoyance. For anyone who loves hidden picture type things, these are great fun! There's a list in the back of the books of additional things to find also.

I LOVED these books when I was a kid!! I was so excited to see this set available to buy, I just had to jump at the opportunity. These books are so much fun and provide any child with hours of fun searching for Waldo and his friends. I admit, I bought them for myself... When I have some down-time, I like to look for Waldo. I also think it's a great way to keep your mind active. And no, I don't still live with my parents, just re-living my childhood LOL

It's Where Waldo! My 8 and 6 year old love these. The original is a good introduction for younger kids. They pull the books out every week or so to look at them again.One star off for the puzzle. It's very tricky because all of the pieces are similar looking. When you have completed it you have to store it seperate to the books. Otherwise every time you take the books out the puzzle pieces come tumbling out and you have to do it again!

Fun for the whole family... Owned these books as a child. Travelled through nostalgia overload.... Now sharing the experience with my daughters. #livin the dream.

Amazing collection. You will be entertained for a long time. The price was right as well. 6 stars if I could.
