They are cheap and do the job. But for certain exercises I find them a bit small.

Love these sliders. They are a great dupe for the reformer and the exercises you can do on them are endless. Really good for the core. They are so small you dont have to worry about storage.

The plastic side is supposed to slide on carpet, but I didn't find it slippy enough barefoot or with socks, but perhaps with shoes it would be OK.

I was going to use them on my carpeted floor but wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped for. It is ok but personally I wanted a strap on too.

WHA!!No soft landing places here, my friends!If you want your backside whupped in a short workout stint, these are the kit for you!I am discovering that Elite Sports equipment is filling in a lot of gaps created by my chronic injuries. For example, I can only jog a very short distance before my knees turn into melons: which does nothing for weight loss, and I have quite a bit of post-baby weight to shift.I bought these innocuous looking pinky girly discs, expecting an equally lady-like workout on the living room carpet. That illusion lasted for about 2 or 3 "strides" (in place) on these sliders before I realized they cause even military special forces to weep for mercy! I tell you, these are probably the best invention on this planet since sliced bread and Thermos! I will no longer spend a frustrating northern Scotland winter wishing I could go for a good walk outside ~ instead I will be kicking my own backside right here in the house while warm and dry. Until the sweat starts to pour...Fingers crossed, I hope I re-visit this review with a triumphant update of stubborn weight shifted and flabby muscles returned to glory!

The product itself is fine, and works pretty well. The dual side aspect is a good idea too as is soft and protects the floor generally. That said, I would not used on a highly regarded wooden floor as there is the chance that the plastic edges will scratch the floor.I have marked down to three due to the item being in pretty bad condition. The box looked like something that had been left in the boot of the car for six months and the discs were scratched. I am not just talking surface scratches, i mean the face of one of the items was completely covered in deep scratches. This is an item that will be scraped on the floor and will ultimately get scratched anyway - BUT, when you buy something new you want to be the person that scratches it as you might aswell buy used if don't mind it being scratched when it arrives.UPDATE:The condition of the product was not the fault of the seller and the seller quickly rectified. Very happy with the new product and upgraded to 5 stars.

As a personal trainer who regularly trains clients from their homes, I initially was looking for something I could use for core exercises where there was nowhere to hang a TRX suspension trainer. I had never used any type of sliders before, so was amazed by how effective they were for both myself and my clients.I now find myself at times using them even when I have access to a TRX, as they are quicker to use and as part of a circuit that means I can keep the intensity up. The option of different sides for carpet or wooden floors is great. A tip though, make sure your wooden floor is very clean as obviously sliding on top of any small grit etc would scratch the floor.A Well made, high quality, low priced, versatile product with helpful videos on their website. I have even had a few clients express an interest in buying their own.

These get five stars because of the fantastic Customer Service from Sportz Elite. I emailed them on Saturday night stating that I felt that I could only give them a 3 Star review, as after using them for a week on my laminate flooring, I found that they didn't glide over the surface as expected. This may just be a problem with the combination of my flooring and the sliders not being compatible, as many other reviewers seem to have no problem with them.On Sunday morning I received a very nice email from Sports Elite offering a no quibble refund. I wouldn't hesitate to give these a try if I was you, as the principal of the sliders core exercise is good, I think I'm just unlucky with my flooring.
