This book is amazing!If you want to study Nutrition I know it will help you so much. I was lucky to have Mrs Tull as my teacher while doing a Nutrition level 3 course and I found her to be an excellent teacher just like this book. If you are a passionate of Nutrition you won't regret buying it.

Obliged to read this as a course set text. It's a very painting-by-numbers approach to nutrition, just what you would expect from an upper school level textbook written in the 1990s. Clear language with useful revision questions throughout.

i am currently studying food technology as part of my teacher training and this book has been invaluable its a great basic guide and a fantastic reference point i would recomend this to any student (or student teachers). This book is widley used in schools and to be honest out of all my learning resources this is the most comprehensive.

Excellent delivery and this fascinating book. My son needed this book for his a levels and the price was an absolute bargain through Amazon

Poor index. Have yet to find any reference to mushrooms. No mention of effects of slow-cooking on vegetables. And if I wanted advice on planning a kitchen or food presentation I wouldn't look in a book on NUTRITION.
