Yet again, second set ordered, the resistance reading differ greatly from advertised. This set was both 9.5kohms….. previous set was both 8.5 on both, far from the 14+ advertised for the bridge.

I purchased these humbuckers for my Epiphone Special 2. I wanted to customize it with gold hardware and get better humbucker pickups. However these pickups sound hotter on the bridge pickup with more treble than bass or using the neck pickup extreme bass. I found that it seems to have exceptional quality on distortion with the bridge pickup and exceptional quality for clean on the neck pickup. There's a huge difference from the stock Epiphone 650R/700T pickups. To me these pickups sound better than the stock ones even though apparently the ohms on the stock are suppose to be 12.1K and 16.9K. They just don't sound as good as these new ones I bought which are supposedly 8k and 14.5k...idk overall if you want a cheap set of gold humbuckers these are a great option. This brand does have a more expensive set for $62.99 maybe in the future I'll buy them and try them but for now these are excellent 💯

I got these pickups to spruce up my old Squier from 20 years ago. They sound fine but nowhere as good as the Seymour Duncans I had in my Fender. These cool pretty cool with the fake wood, but up close they look a little meh because you can tell they are plastic. I received 2 gold neck pickups which doesn't do me much good! Maybe this is why they are 6 bucks cheaper than the chrome set!

These are passive pickups that look similar to the brand-name active pickups. There are no coil-splitting options with these pickups, unfortunately. The set is fairly quiet but not as quiet as the active brand-name ones. There's also more of a midrange response and the high end is more tamped down than the active brand-name ones. It is not a PAF tone but it's somewhere between the active brand name and the '59 model of the other brand name pickup. They work well enough for your guitar project if you're looking for a flat black minimalist appearance.I will do a comparison video and post it to the review as soon as it is done.
