Delighted with the substantial construction of this wok. Small and definitely perfectly formed it is perfect for our small household. It feels like a serious piece of cooking kit. The heat distribution is excellent and a professional result is simple to achieve. Highly recommend.

Far superior to other woks I have owned. Was a little concerned about getting a smaller size than previously, but this is plenty big enough to do a chicken stir fry or beef stroganoff for 3. Cleans excellently with just hot soapy water and a J cloth, even after being left empty for a couple of hours. This is my 5th masterclass pan (different kinds) and have had no problem with any of them. I only use silicon or wooden utensils to keep the non-stick surfaces in best condition. Very well balanced and sits perfectly on gas hob.

Having owned a larger version of this wok for many years and been very happy with it, I stumbled across this smaller version and decided it would be useful to buy for those days I’m only cooking for myself.For the most part, I’m glad i did.It is lovely and heavy, which allows it to hit a nice high level of heat if you want, but will also cool down relatively quickly. It definitely helps to keep it seasoned (namely apply a sheen of Cooking oil to it after washing) , as i did with its bigger brother.Its just the right size for a normal single person portion of stir fry, and can happily be used for other methods of cooking too such as making a mince ragu and so on.My only reason for not affording it 5 stars across the board, is the handle on this one gets hot. While in part this may be due to the size of the wok, i feel that reworking the handle would have been a sensible idea for the size of wok. The bigger version i have only just gets hot near the wok itself towards the end of using it, so i dont need a tea-towel/glove, this version gets hot almost in line with the heating of the pan itself. However, this is a flaw i can live with simply by using something to pick it up with.

Would work great on a gas hob (which I don't have anymore), works fine on electric one as well (compared to other woks I have). It has nowhere mentioned it is dishwasher safe, and considering other feedback about weak non-stick cover, I hand-wash it - hence 3 *** for Heat distribution and Easy to clean points. Gave 3 *** for Versatility - it might be quite heavy (not for me, however) and also not easy to store due to a long handle. However, a good wok for a fair price. Wish I had a gas hob to utilize fully what it can offer. Looking forward to get other stuff from the same manufacturer as I like it.

Owned this for little over 1 year and the non-stick coating has had it. There is rust showing through inside and out. Is this really the same product as the one receiving 5 star reviews? The product description says it’s dishwasher safe, no chance! Gave that up months ago but still the rust gets worse. Initially I was impressed at how well it cooks, and it is a perfect size for my use. Shame about the abysmal quality.

Works on induction hob. Bottom of the wok showing some use but this can only be seen washing or drying. The carbon coating is holding its own.Update: the coating is not doing so well anymore. Only use wooden spoons and still has developed problems. Shows some rust now. Rather disappointing.Downgraded from four to two stars.Remembered the Masterclass guarantee and decided to write to the company after visiting their website. I got a prompt reply and as soon as I supplied my details, a replacement was sent to me. I received it this past hour. I must say I am pleasantly surprised and for that, I bump my rating back up to 5 stars. Here is hoping I have better luck with this replacement as regards longevity.

I have bought this wok for couple sizes and give some to my immediate family as I find it good and easy to use. However, unfortunately the non stick come off way before 10 years (and unfortunately i have throw it to the bin before noticing that it possibly can be replaced).To me personally, I dont mind to spend the money for a product that can last. However, the big question that I demand answer from Masterchef is whether this is PTFE and PFOA free. If this goes unanswered, I assume they are not and they are too afraid to answer. Therefore, I will not recommend this product as the non stick is going to be carcinogen (causing cancer) when it starts to peel off.

Arrivata oggi e provata subito con riso e verdure saltate: mi sembra un ottimo prodotto, in perfetto rapporto qualità prezzo, lo spessore in sè non è elevato, ma il peso (1 kg circa) e la struttura sono molto validi, l'impressione è massiccia. Il manico non si scalda, l'estetica, come da immagini, è molto bella. La super consiglio!Unica nota al produttore è dotarla di una confezione più protetta, con un pò di pluriball magari, invece arrivata in una semplice busta di carta, neanche cartone, riporta una piccola ammaccatura....

Llevaba tiempo buscando un wok que no pareciera una bañera ya que sólo lo uso para una o dos personas y éste es de tamaño ideal. Lo recibí el lunes y ya lo he usado en cinco o seis ocasiones entre comidas y cenas y de momento estoy encantada: tamaño perfecto para una o dos personas, se ve de buena calidad, el antiadherente es perfecto (en otras cosas que se venden como tales a los dos usos ya se pegan las cosas), Lo uso en cocina eléctrica (no inducción) y se calienta rápido y bien.De momento estoy encantada y sí, por lo que llevo usado ahora mismo, sí que lo recomendaría.

Contento. Tamaño exacto para mi uso (1-2 personas).Buena calidad, aunque una vez lavada hay que secarla bien o se oxida en los bordes.
