I have odd shaped windows in my spare room. My husband loves to sleep up there when he wants it completely dark since I love the light. I’ve been blocking them off with sheets trying to avoid spending a ton on custom blinds. I ordered these knowing they are considered temporary blinds but wow I’m glad I did. These were the EASIEST to cut and hang within 5 minutes. My husband walked in and I was done. He thought I was still unwrapping them. I think they look pretty dang good and block the light perfectly for him. They don’t feel crazy sturdy or like they would hold up to a bunch of wear and use but these are perfect for what I need. They would be good for hear and there use. No drilling. Just easy!!

The shades are very good for the price. Easy to put up. Easy to open and close with the draw string and a pretty crystal at the bottom of the string. Will buy again as long as it holds up.

Buy tension rods to fit your window width. I bought the Kenny Roger’s twist to fit 5/8 diameter.Cut your blinds to fit the entire width of your window, you don’t need to make room for end caps. Release some string tension from the assembly, use small cutters and snip the first row ends to fit your tension rods end caps as they won’t fit through.Take the end cap off the small end of tension rod to slide it in, then replace cap. Adjust tension rod to fit your window tightly! Have the Velcro with the adhesive on the blind, do not put the adhesive on the window first.Position in window below where sticking, remove film and wiggle it upward, press adhesive on front and back, pull to full length and trim string, re-tie jewel on end. DONE PERFECT!!!

Identifying the parts better in the instructions would help. Try to not call the parts by 2 different names.Also, use a better sticky tape, like Alian tape, so you don't have to wait 24 hours.

Blocks light when shade is wanted, helps insulate windows, and raises/lowers smoothly. We have had them up for 6 months so far. (We have 3) We raise and lower them daily. My family was skeptical they would stay up since it took 2 minutes to install. We are in awe. Thank you for a quality product :)

These shades look very nice. They were easy to install. It comes with a cutting tool that made it easy to cut for your window size. It’s not bulky and very light weight so it is perfect for covering the glass on my front door.

I put my shade up and within a week of opening and closing it the string ended up going up inside and coming all the way out of the shade. Now it's junk cuz it just hangs all the way down.

These shades are used on long windows primarily to keep the heat out and bedroom dark and have worked very good, not too fond of the press and hold function for up and down But so far so good.

Just make sure you measure the size of your window to make sure it fits! Easy to cut, easy to use. Blocks out light 💯. I’ve bought two, and plan on buying more for my house.
