Beautiful and Recommended By Favored Teachers
This is a beautiful little Bible. As others have stated, pages are thin and the print is small, but neither are prohibitive to enjoyment. At 61, I would have trouble with it in low light.I am very happy to have purchased it. I follow a teacher who recommends this for accuracy in translation, and once my own pastor recommended it, I decided to make the purchase. I do not find it difficupt to read.

A very readable edition of the 1611
What's great about this facsimile is that, unlike other KJV facsimiles which use the original font that is very hard to read, this one uses clear type that makes it easier to read and understand, while still maintaining the spelling and stylistic distinctives of the original KJV Bibles. The pages are thin, but not to the extent you worry that each turn will rip the page. As long as you aren't rough with it you should be fine. It comes with a ribbon which is useful, and it tells me this is a Bible meant to be read, not merely to be displayed. I found reading with this Bible to be highly profitable, because the "archaic" language and the style of the pages brings my mind to pay attention to what is being written, rather than ripping through pages without actually considering what you've read, which is easy to do with translations like the NIV or others like it. I also like how each chapter begins with a large "fancy" letter, which really brings the pages to life and helps break up what otherwise would be a wall of text. The only thing is that the chapters are written in Roman Numerals, which you may have to get used to if you aren't familiar with it, I being one, V being 5, X being 10, L being 50, C being 100. If a smaller numeral comes before a larger numeral, it means to subtract that amount from the one after it. So Psalm LXVII consist of 50, 10, 5, and 2, which would be Psalm 67. Psalm XCIV consists of 10, 100, 1, and 5. Because 10 comes before 100, 100 becomes 90. Because 1 comes before 5, it becomes 4, which would be Psalm 94, as some examples of how it's chapters are numbered.

A good Bible
A good Bible, I love history and old fashioned things, and wanted to get this old fashioned Bible. I am in the process of becoming Orthodox and wanted a Bible with the Deuterocanonical books (Apocrypha) as well. The paper is a bit thin, I would like to see it a bit sturdier, but other than that it is very good. It saddens me to see so many negative reviews on these 1611 Bibles saying it has spelling errors, instead of researching what they are purchasing, and realizing that these are indeed not spelling errors, but simply how things were spelled 400 years ago, hence the 1611 Edition.

OH KING JAMES VERSION
The pages are thin but every Bible has thin pages. It’s in the original King James Version so for instance the word mighty is (mightie) and upon is (Vpon) and stiff like that. If that’s going to bother you, then don’t buy it. If you’re a scholar like me that wants to know the mysteries of the mind of God before the changes in the alphabet then you’ll use brilliance to overcome such things. Also I like how it has references to other Bible books and chapters. For instance if Paul is referring to something Moses did or said there would be a reference to the first 5 books. Or if he’s quoting David then there would be a reference to psalms. Also if there’s a section that isn’t easily understood then there a (||) in it and the corners explain what it is in depth. I have another Bible NIV as well that I use for back up but when it comes to speaking the word with power and committing jt to the tablet of my heart, I use the KJV. It also has an apocrypha (minus Enoch and a few others that would’ve been good to know about before I bought it - rolls eyes- but I don’t regret the purchase ! It’s small and cute and I thinkIt’s value for the money!

The Testimony of Jesus Christ in English
This is a facsimile of a reprint of the 1611 AV Bible presented to King James. Although it is not a facsimile of the original 1611, the reprint is faithful to the original text based on my personal sample audits and the reports from others. Most importantly, this is the testimony presented to King James as the Word of God which was openly translated by a committee from the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek languages. This testimony was and is hated so much that many attempts were made to prevent its translation. Today it is dismissed by some as containing many errors. Yet few even prove this using the original facsimile against the updated texts. Would King David take a bible into battle without proving it? God states that many corrupt his word. Many warnings are given in this book against following the Babylonian system of spiritual leadership. The Apocrypha is correctly included and is placed between the two Testaments. By examining the Apocrypha, the believer can see the false teachings of Babylon (such as prayers to the dead, sale of indulgences, purgatory.) Comparing (by the power of the Holy Ghost)to the inspired testaments, today's Babylonian teachings and also those including evolution and aliens/UFO's are reproved. However, Satan is given power by God to deceive many. The 1611 believer is shown many prophecies that cannot be discerned with subsequent changes made throughout the 17th and 18th centuries. Every Christian should trust this as the Word of God and rely 100% on the Holy Ghost teaching precept upon precept, line upon line in scripture (Isa 28:10 and 13.) The punctuation, use of capitalization, and word differences used in subsequent revisions, changes the meaning in many places. For example: Serpents lie in Gen 3:5, Questions to Lucifer removed in Isaiah 14:12, comma removed in Job 24:1 and 1 Cor 1:18, change from "he" to "she" in Job 39, and from "she" to "he" in Song of Solomon 2:7. The revelation of the final future antichrist being named Solomon cannot be discerned without the text from this book. This prophecy and others have been attacked in subsequent revisions. Babylon also changed the location of the mark of the beast in Rev 13:16 to "on" from "in" in the middle of the 18th century. The mark is revealed as "in" elsewhere in scripture (see 2 Pet 1:20 for importance of cross verification of scripture.) Academic scholarship is OK, but in the absence of the Holy Ghost, a person cannot understand the teachings of God. God says no man needs to teach you (1 John 2:27, John 15:26) however, you can be edified by other believers as they share what the Holy Ghost has taught them. It is curious that only "few" (read Mat 7) are saved which contradicts the flattery of many of today's teachings. Buy this book (it contains its own internal dictionary that the Holy Ghost may show you) and trust in the Lord to teach you his Word (Prov 3:5)

1611 Edition KJV Bible
I love this 1611 Bible but it's kinda hard to understand. I've been reading it but always have to use another version with it to understand it. I don't like that that the lettering is too small but I love that it has the lost books of the Bible (Apocrypha)
