I bought this becuase my old plugin digital timer broke, and I desperately needed something to replace it (I used it to control grow light for my seedling/plants). My friend recommended this one to me.My last timer has a LCD screen; one can bottons to set up program. This one, at first glance, does not have too much going on; it has a very simplistic look. In order to use it as a timed power outlet, you will need to install a mobile app. The entire setup is very simple (the manual gives detailed instruction); It’s so much easier to program the time by phone than by physical buttons. I also like the fact I can control it via wifi. I do want to mention that currently it can only connect to routers that provide 2.4 Ghz network; not sure if this will change in the future, but I think most routers on the market support 2.4ghz (I personally own a dual-band), so you just have to make sure that it’s connected to the right one during setup.It’s definitely an upgrade from my old setup.Highly ecommended!

I still can not not make this or the bulbs work as they all have some weird I tegration issue with 5g...

I have been Trying to connect this wifi plug to my router for over an hour, called ATT uverse to make sure my router is 2.4ghz or 5 ghz and found out it was both, Made sure my wifi password was correct. Had to download two seperate apps for them, and then had to download Amazon Alexa to try and get this device to connect, all the while the instruction book is so small and not much help. I read the whole thing, tried various ways they could help and at the end, the book had no fix for me. Now I am tired and frustrated, hoped that these devices would help me keep an eye on my indoor gardening when I was away but have learned that sometimes its best to stay with old school timers. I see NO SUPPORT # TO CALL!!! BEWARE!!! I need help connecting and their IS NO PHONE NUMBER TO CALL!!! DON"T BUY! will be returning this item.

Our family loves this plug! It's very easy to set up and use. My children have a task which is plugging in the Christmas lights at night. After we bought this product, we didn't have to leave the cozy warmth of our home. You can control your house with only laying a finger. I recommend this 5 stars!!

this is a the perfect product for me. During the day, I only need the plant growing light to be turned on for 5 hours. So all I really have to do is to just make a schedule of when the light to be on and off and the lights would automatically be shut off or powered.

Could not get it to work. Would not connect to alexa echo.

It is absolutely a smart choice to control the remoted heater when sleeping on the bed in the winter. Very easy to connect to the wifi and app, and instruction is understandable.

Good item. Very simple to use. However, app can be improved as it can get a little difficult to set up. After I got it set up, it works real good.
