UGreen for the win!
I've become a huge fan of Ugreen. It's 'Apple' quality and a fraction of the price. I use this hub for connecting two Thunderbolt Crucial X10 Pro Portable SSD's to my Macbook M3 Pro. One I use as a TimeMachine for backups, and the other is a Media backup for my edits. Both work incredibly fast through this hub.

Nice product, if all ports charged
It’s a very good idea, now with all devices going to USB-C. The price is actually great.One issue I am having is the fact that not all four ports charge the devices. Maybe my product is defective, I have contacted Amazon support. Other than that, a good product.

It delivers
I was sceptical, but on my laptop with 3.2 gen 2 usb c port, using crystal disc mark it displayed speeds consistent with the potential maximum speeds of my drives, namely, Samsung t7 shield, t7 std, both 2tb and an old t5 500mb drive. When plugged directly into laptop I got speeds of 1048/1049 for both t7s, using the ugreen hub there was a slight drop to1028/1022. My little t5 managed an amazing speed of 546. Obviously these aren't real world speeds, but they do give us confidence that this device is a worthwhile purchase that delivers on its promise.

Does it do the job?
I recently bought a fairly high-spec PC and paid extra to have a second USB-C port; even with thay I needed a hub to connect several of my devices with USB-C leads. This hub is small on my desk and will take 4 devices, I have had three external SDD drives connected at once and have had no failure with data transfer so far.Recommended.
