Its a decent foam that is soft enough to sink into but firm enough to support. I did find that the cut out at the back needed to be deeper as I bought this for post Hemorrhoidectomy comfort, it was a godsend in the car on the way home but still allows some pressure on the centre of the but without some modification to the depth of the cutout. I tried another cushion that had a deeper cutout but was much too hard on the foam so this was still a much better buy.

After few weeks my back is much better. No people are saying it's too soft but i find it just about right. I tried harder version from different comapny before but wasn't good for me.

The item was good value for money, it's really comfortable and it takes away the pain which is in my coccyx and tailbone. The relief was almost instant as it makes you sit properly. I would highly recommend this item for pain relief. I was amazed, I had been suffering for weeks.

I bought this cushion for a family member who has been suffering with inflammation /abcess & piles in the bottom area .Reading the description it did mention piles specifically. I also read that some similar cushions can actually aggravate the problem due to having a larger gap & less cushion depth.After weeks of severe terrible discomfort I purchased this cushion.It has been 👏 amazing. She can now sit at her desk to work with no problem.It has brought her tremendous relief & she also feels that healing has begun as less pressure is being put on the area.A absolute definate recommendation from her ! 😊

All the blurb and reviews on this sounded good so I went for it rather than a slightly more expensive one. Wish I had gone for the other one now, it's ok depending on your reason for needing it. But it's not hugely comfortable and supportive in the car, it feels like it flattens out too much at the back and doesn't provide enough support. It's ok for short journeys but nothing else.

I have read lots of reviews before buying this one. I wanted to purchase the best one especially because I was going to have a surgery and I wanted something to help me out during recovery. Extremely comfortable, I don’t know why someone was saying the opposite, great size and good material quality. I used it all the time and I can say how much this helped me!
