First I would like to start with I absolutely tried this on us first BEFORE trying this collar on our fur-baby. Max for shocking is 30 but I definitely think that is WAY to strong for the weight limit thats posted for the product. I would say 10 would be the max. We beep her two times and then give her a vibrate as her warning IF she continues we then do a fast shock and that definitely works. We have ours set on 8. It is super easy to use and we have been using this a few months and still have not needed to charge it. We have an acre property and a large house and it does work everywhere. We can see her going to the no no area of the yard and beep her and she will walk away. Range is perfect for what we have. We did need to trim down the collar and burn the ends of fabric so it fit her better. We do have a pool and she jumped in and went swimming with it on and it had no issues. So cost, quality, fit and useage is definitely a win. I do recommended you use it on yourself first to make sure you are not over doing it on your pets.

My dog (Maltese) barks like crazy at everything that moves. She barks at my son's when they come into the living room and when they leave, barks when the doorbell rings, when I open the front door, once I put the collar on, it only took one time and she instantly stopped barking. All I can say is "Wow" It really works. I highly recommend this product.

The battery goes dead after about 18 hours even when it is turned off after charging and not used. I really don't want to charge it every night. If it had a stronger battery I would rate it about a 4 star.

I have a one year old mini pinscher and she has tons of heart, but is overly vocal. She is fearless and tries to take on large dogs to protect her territory (which is anywhere she stands). I bought other products from Amazon to deter her from barking and acting aggressively towards other animals, alas nothing worked until this collar. I bought it for the price point and it only came in pink. I was so desperate I didn’t care about the color. I have no intention of using the shock portion of the collar as she is quite delicate for all her bravado. A couple of beeps with saying “no” and once moving to vibration on 1 and it curbed her behavior and barking! Now I just put the collar on her not even activating any buttons and she calms down pretty quickly. This is an immense improvement over previous behavioral techniques that I have been using. She is not afraid of the collar, doesn’t tremble in fear when I put it on her and she listens so much better than before. I have had this collar for about a week, so even if it doesn’t last long, for my pup, this purchase was well worth it. Don't cut the collar too short as an adjustment or two may need to be made. Once the collar is properly fitted, cut to size and use a lighter to melt the ends to prevent fraying. I did cut off roughly six inches and I left it longer just in case. One side note, the collar does show every bit of dirt possible and I don’t even care.

I had this item for about 2-3 months & it worked well. At least for a short while. $50+ wasted! The unit is supposed to be waterproof, however, when I carefully washed the fabric part of the colar, due to it being so dirty, it has not worked since! It was not even submerged in water!Incidently, I never had to progress it to the shock feature. My, then puppy was only 6-7 pounds. So, it was effective with just the vibrate & tone alerts. Now, it is too late to get a refund. Very disappointed …..

I have had great success with this product on my 5 pound little girl. She was a real barker until I purchased this. It has 3 modes but I never used the shock option as she listened with just the vibration or beeping. All I have to do now is put it on her or show it to her and she stops barking right now 😊. Would recommend this product. The company even emailed me directly with a manual even though one came with it.

This collar is somewhat small and definitely geared toward smaller breeds. It includes both longer and shorter probes so you can choose what works best based on the length of your dog's fur. There are also silicone caps included to protect your dog's skin from allergic reactions. I confirmed on my hand that the stimulation is still felt through the caps.The remote is intuitive and I appreciate that the controls were built such that you cannot accidentally adjust the power or accidentally press a button (which could happen if you were to put a remote in your pocket). With this remote, the adjustment wheel is "clicky", so there needs to be intent there to actually adjust it. That's a good thing.I also appreciate that both the remote and collar charge via USB-C, avoiding the need for proprietary charging cables.My sole real complaint with this kit is that the stimulation power level range is only 0 - 32. I would prefer to see 0 - 100, to ensure that each increment is as low as possible. After all, the goal of e-training is not to shock the dog and make it feel pain: used properly, the goal is to provide the lowest stimulation possible that gets the dog's attention without causing it pain.Overall, though, this is fairly well made and reasonably priced. Used responsibly, it can be an excellent tool in training your dog and allowing him/her some freedom from the leash.

easy to use and adjust strength levels of the shock and vibration mods. our 17lb dog reacted right away with the shock set to 8 and did not like it which corrected her barking in the car right away, now just having the collar on in the car is enough to stop her.
