In the past I've used a thumb tack, which didn’t always go so good. A dozen eggs in and not a single problem. I love it! Easy yo use. And it’s true, the peels practically slide right off. Light weight, small but mighty little gadget! Worth its weight in gold lol.

I never understood how people got such perfect eggs in mass quantities for deviled eggs and such. I’ve tried salt in the water, ice baths and several other things. Stumbled on a mention of an egg piercer on social media.I was honestly skeptical. Seeing some reviews I was more skeptical. So to be cautious, I boiled the water first, then carefully added the eggs and put to a gentle boil. Surprisingly there was no leakage, no mess.They did peel easier! Of the three eggs, one had a slight divot (husband was hungry and rushed it a bit), but the rest were perfect.Love this gadget!!!!! Totally worth it.

I lost my Dash egg cooker measuring cup that included the egg piercer. This is a great replacement for the egg piercer!

I usually make my eggs with no peeling problems. My child unfortunately has no luck. This product took care of it. Simple to use.
