Summer and Warrek
Unexpected and cute. No one ever wants the talker to keep talking, but warrek liked Summers babbling. So sweet. The girl singed her hair off...still gorgeous to him. A little more action than the previous ones but fun.

Great dialogue!
Warrek and Summer are very cute together! The best part of this book was definitely Summer’s dialogue! Overall, I was expecting a little more action. Especially given that part of the tribe is kidnaped. Another sweet IPB love story! Plus, who knew shy Warrek was so spicy! Love the other’s reactions to learning about the she-spot!

Shema
I waited, book after book, to hear about Asha. Hemalo will be mentioned but no Asha. I freaking CRIED when Asha has Shema in her lap at the fires with all the other women. It might be stupid to be attached to some of these characters but Asha had such a long hard road and to get a little girl again is just beautiful. I am so sad she isn’t included more. Also, Summers motor mouth episodes are hilarious and so well written! I definitely laughed several times in this book! Probably my third favorite after Liz and Asha. Can’t wait to see what happens next!!!

This belongs at the top of your TBR list!!
You have to be in awe of a writer who can take an idea of modern earth women being kidnapped by aliens and dropped onto a frozen planet to make a life with a primitive village made up of huge muscular blue humanoid creatures with horns like a rams on their heads, a lion's tail, armored scutes like a ankylesaurus shielding their more vulnerable parts, and a symbiotic "cootie" implanted at birth that chooses who they will have as a mate, and make it into a series of stories that are truly transcendental. Each character's story sucks us in as we are caught up in their lives, in their struggles and dreams, their quirks and their personalities, in the way they see the world around them and their different approaches to life. We can't help but to be captivated by their journey, their heartache, tears, and tragedies, as well as their joys and triumphs. And, of course, the paths they take to love, creating families, and not just a new tribe, but a new way of living, as the two very different beings learns to create a new way of life, and in fact a new species, together."Barbarian's Rescue" got some criticism in the reviews. These seemed to especially center around the likability of the Heroine. Summer is a "talker". The more nervous or uncomfortable a situation is, the more she feels the need to fill the silence with words. She is a nervous rambler, and she knows it. She is also painfully aware of others negative reaction to her quirk. She knows how she sounds, and she knows she's apt to end up with her foot in her mouth. But she's doing the best she can in a difficult situation that nothing in her life could ever have prepared her for. I love that Summer is paired with Warrick, who we haven't had a chance to know much about, other than that he is quiet where Summer is loquacious. And that he has deeply mourned the loss of his father, who died in the cave-in that destroyed their old home. I loved how they complimented each other. I loved that we got to see how smart and insightful Summer was. And how brave she was when she needed to be. I loved how Warrick learned how to support her and encourage those traits in her. How he really "saw" her, and got everyone else to look at her with new eyes as well. I loved how adventurous they both were about sex. They dove in to that new opportunity for intimacy in the best way. They recognized that with their innocence of the process of both physical and emotional love, there were bound to be some fumbles and awkward situations along the way. They listened to what their partner told them about what they liked and wanted, and then worked to give the other the most pleasure possible. They didn't take it too seriously when they fumbled, and they laughed and had fun learning how to love each other. Really, if couples in the real world approached becoming sexually active in the same way, there would be a lot more happy sexually satisfied people out there in healthy happy relationships, and a lot fewer sexual therapists. In conclusion, don't listen to the bad reviews. "Barbarian' s Rescue" was an awesome addition to the Ice Planet Barbarians Series. It should definitely be put on your TBR list. In fact, it should be at the top of the list!

Warrec & Summer
I had a peek at what was going to come for this book, but I did not expect it to be the way that it turned out. Summer and Warrec were amazing to read about and dirty.Character breakdown;Summer: I don’t think I got much of summer before her book with Warrec but I ended up loving the heck out of her. She was smart, awkward and dirty as heck. It’s like those girls that know dirty things but have not done dirty things and can play dirty with the best of them. Also she’s a bit psycho.Warrec: so I knew he was a quiet one and was known to be a good hunter, I loved how he quickly recognized Summer’s potential and used it to his advantage with his hunting skills. This was the perfect she was the brain he was the brawn, and that work marvelously.I loved the team work the two did, I loved a particular scene where Summer distracted the alien while Warrec snuck up behind the alien. It was a bad a**ed move!! I am now thoroughly curious how things will go for the 20 people in stasis and also what happened with Brooke and Taushen???Loved this book I laughed so hard! And it was deliciously dirty. 9/10 ⭐️ absolutely must read.

I relate to summer
I rly vibed with summer at first which surprised me because I was put off of this book because I didn’t like the premise of it but then I realized Summer is the type of character I was waiting for. It was a quick read yet added lots to the world building of IPB while still having all the good character and relationship building.

Maravilhosa
Esta estória foi maravilhosa. Eu adoro quando os personagens dizem logo o que sentem e não ficam fazendo frescura. E a aventura foi fantástica. Não gosto que os personagens fiquem sofrendo, e este livro foi perfeito. Simplesmente maravilhoso.

Summer and Warrek
Summer and Warrek are in the Fruit Cave as they see the spaceship named "Tranquil Lady" land. There are some cruel orange Aliens coming out and capturing the people of the "Elders Cave", the human women and the Sa-Khui all together. Summer strategizes in a formidable way, how to free them and with Warreks help they succeed. They also find tombs in the spaceship with sixteen human females and four alien males. They let them hibernate further on, because they don't know, what to do with them and part of them walks to the village to ask Vektal, the Chief. On the way Summer and Warrek fall in love with each other, they just do not resonate ....I loved to read the book Warrek is very quiet, but well considered and deliberate and so sweet in his ways, by the way the sincerity with which he discusses the "she-point" is hilarious. Summer is the opposite, a very talkative person, but unexpectedly strategic in her thinking, playing chess, very brave and determined. The characters fit very good together, this made the read quite enjoyable and I highly recommend this book.
