This is a great price for a great AVR, the RZ50 is a great sounding receiver with the ability to use both legacy components, and high quality audio and video connections. The RZ50 is powerful and has most of the high end features and performance to match much more expensive receivers, including Dirac live, and THX certification.

Do not update your firmware. You won't have any sound.
When you go through the setup process, do NOT do the Firmware Update!!! There will be NO SOUND except the speaker setup that goes from speaker to speaker. I had to do the factory reset after reading many forums and now it's fine.FIX THAT UPDATE!!!

Device cannot be calibrated with dirac due to what I hope is a mic issue and not a problem with the device.

Verify immediately if the system doesn't perform.
The receiver continues to reset to factory settings, every time its restarted. I have conducted every recommended procedure and no process has been successful. I checked the Onyko website and my model doesn't come up. I purchased this at a discount price and now I have to send it back disregarding the thousands I have spent on theater speakers.
