Good bookshelf
I brought this shelf to put it in the loft space because of I had the space there for a big unit like this. It took me 2 1/2 hrs to put this together all by myself. It progressively got heavier as it was built however it was manageable as I had it on the carpet most of the time. I found it easier to put the wood planks in with it sideways on the carpet too. Putting this together by yourself is doable...you need to have patience and follow the instructions. 1st though, read the instructions fully. It is a very nice piece and now holds more than books...it has puzzles, artifacts and plants as well. It has more vertical space than horizontal space so you can stack books up. It is sturdy without securing it. Moving it on carpet is not easy so put it together close to where its home is. Good idea to measure the space for it as it is a big unit. It looks very good when it is all done.

Has held up great for a year
I've had this for a little over a year now and it's held up just fine I like the unique shape it's perfect for an awkward space we have in our home right alongside our staircase it holds a decent level of weight I wouldn't use this to hold heavy items but we do currently have a lamp a record player a small electronic some plants and books and it seems to be working just fine I would definitely encourage you to use the straps that it comes with the secure it to the wall as the odd base and shape may make it tilt prone if you don't have level floors

Beautiful bookshelf
Instructions were easy to follow. Took no time at all. I suggest to use your own tools as the Alan wrench they provided was small. All In all though, it is a great shelving unit. I love the way it looks and the adjustable feet to make sure it's level.

Very nice piece of furniture
It was easy to assemble. We used a screw gun and small ratchet to speed up the process. All screw holes lined up. It comes with wall anchors, that I would recommend using if you have kids or cats! We have neither so did not use them. I'm not crazy about the color of the shelves, but there were no other color options. Overall, I'm very happy with this and I am always skeptical when the price is low. Its stylish, unique, and fun. The shelf spaces are all the same height. The wide angle lense distorted my photo a bit.
