I've been buying liquid Johnny's Au Jus in the little white bottles for years, but when I saw this powder, I immediately bought it. I think it's a far better value and it's so easy to adjust the strength to my liking. I use it for French Dip Au Jus, beef soups and pot roasts. A little goes a long ways. It's a much better deal than the liquid. I will absolutely be buying it again.

Haven't used it to make Au Jus, I got it for seasoning. It's great in soup, stew, marinades and just to enhance hamburgers. I make my dry rub for smoking meat and this will always be in it when I'm smoking beef.

Au Jus is something we use a lot so we got this to see if it was competition for other producers, and it proved to be more than our expectations were.

Bought as the McCormick's I usually buy was unavailable.May work for you, too much adjusting strength to find one that works. Dialed the mixture strength down several times, still have not found one where I like the flavor. Using as dipping only (rib roast), so using as a soup base may work better.

Johnny’s Au Jus powder mix is great for an instant cup of hot broth for sandwich dipping. A bit more peppery type taste than say McCormick’s.

This au jus mix had bold rich flavors that complimented the flavor of the meat. Will definitely buy again!
