This book is cute and my little boy who is monster obsessed loves it. The story is cute and pretty easy to follow. My one flag with the book, and for some families it’s no big deal, it that there is a tiny bit of bathroom humor in a joke about farts. Some people won’t care but some might so I figured it’s good to include here. Overall though, the message of the book is good and not being afraid of monsters is a good takeaway that my son really enjoys.

Cute and non-scary book that I purchased for my second-grade classroom. The kids loved it, it wasn't scary, and it is a great addition to my classroom library.

As a parent, I love reading this to my son and my son loves when I do. It's a fun book to be theatrical with. It helps also when speaking of silly monsters. It made me buy several more of the "How to Catch a" books and we love them all. But this book is our favorite!!
