I love the quality of this item. I haven’t used it yet but it’s heavy and you can tell it’s great quality

Very nice fit and finish. Pre drilled hitch pin holes for vertical or horizontal soft shackle tow option. Nice short hitch pin included.

As with much of my recovery gear, I hope not to have to use but it’s always good to have for insurance. This one still falls in the category of “insurance” and I can’t comment on actual usage. However, it does appear to be solid billet aluminum so I don’t anticipate failure with the hitch itself. It’s more likely to fail at the pin or receiver if I had to guess. Even if this was cast, there was clearly some sort of machining process done to finish it since the shackle hole is nice and smooth for those of you running soft shackles. Overall happy with the purchase since the price point seemed fair for what it is.

I haven’t needed to use it yet but it’s really nice. I don’t anticipate any problems when I really need it!
