I bought a size standard and a size metric Allen wrench with a ball on the end but the metric size is way longer than the standard size did something

I had bought these in a set one of each. They were both the same length.

why are they advertised made in USA and on the bottom it says country of origin china?

No sure, but I had read that if products are packaged in the US they could label them as made in the US and have imported parts. Don't know if this is true but I have found other products advertise the same and open the package and find a China sticker on it.
