Q: Could you please provide instructions about wiring and usage?

There is an attached wiring diagram on the switch connecting wire.This product is widely used in outdoors gates, garage doors, Weatherproof (IP66) construction for indoor/outdoor usage etc. Supply Voltage:6-36V DC;Type : NPN（normally open ）;Wire Type : DC 3 Wire,Proximity-sensing / Opposite Type Sensory Distance : 0-20m；Sending Light : Infrared Rays;Current : 300mA;Thread diameter: 12mm/0.47"

Q: will these work as single unit and trigger if object is sensed by the beam?

Yes. It will send a signal every time the beam is broken thru a 3rd wire. You do have to have a counter or something attached to accept the signal

Q: what is the switching speed of the npn receiver?

The actual switching time is about 2-3 microseconds on the one I've bought, but the minimum "break" time it responds to reliably seems to be at about 10 milliseconds with a 10K load resistor. you could probably increase the sensitivity with a larger load resistor but I haven't tried.

Q: This product is not infrared!. it is red laser dot. do you have one that is really infrared (>800nm)?
