The description claims it is suitable for tapestry's but it really isnt. It would be better with a rug or a towel or something that has more thickness. But could make do, and seems to be holding, but the fabric did slip through once in a while. I didnt want to go through the hassle of returning it, so kept it.

clips best for light weight fiber; springs tend to fail w/ rug of any weight, but provider is excellent at customer service and replaces defective items.

Excellent product. great if you want to hang the light weight samples of the rugs or towels.
