Danger to dog’s life
Within 20 mins my beagle had ripped it open and was chewing the metal coil you can see pictured. How Kong have avoided lawsuits over this I do not know. Endangers your dog’s life - disgusting.

My dog's dream toy
Should you ever wish to see a dog's brain pretty much melt with joy, I believe I now have a recipe. Combine: an elderly Springador whose favourite toys for his first nine years of life have been tennis balls and squeakers, with a Squeakair tennis ball. Result: total obsession and meltdown of happiness. The medium-sized balls are tennis ball size, and will fit in tennis ball launchers. These are a perfect size for our Springador, and after the first ball have all lasted him really very well. All things considered, even the first one of these we gave him lasted pretty well. I have never seen such a happy dog as our lad on being shown that his new tennis ball squeaked. He is so attuned to squeaky toys, he even responds to ones on TV. On being given his first one of these, he sat with it in his mouth for pretty much twelve hours straight. His jaws must have ached like crazy from the amount of chomping he'd done to make this squeak. He fell asleep on it several times. Eventually, it split - and we replaced it straight away, so he was happy and reassured the experience wasn't a one-off, and slowed down on his intensity of focus. In around 6 months of using a couple of dozen of these balls, we've probably seen off 8, with more written off as a result of my nephews' use of a launcher (a combination of accidental and deliberate loss) than as a result of anything the lad does to damage them. The small number our dog has damaged still had intact core balls, but the covers had split from frequent usage and become a danger to him. Excellent value for fun and durability, and no sign of the appeal wearing off: our Springador knows a new ball from an old one and is thrilled/proud whenever he has a new one, taking it round to show everybody.

Totally useless and badly made
Absolutely and totally useless! My small terrier had one in pieces within 5 minutes. She loves balls with squeeks in and was so happy to squeek this one, but the ball is not constructed like a regular tennis ball; instead, it is made up of two halves stick together then covered with a thin layer of soft yellow fleece. It is not strong at all and quickly comes apart. it is not a fraction of the durability of regular tennis balls bought cheaply from sports shops. The squeek is your regular little metal insert that quickly pops out of place and ends up rattling around the inside of the ball, and of course not squeeking! Ruins the whole point of ordering these. Total waste of money and I am very surprised that Kong, a make normally well known for its indestructible Kong toys, has put its name on these cheap tacky and useless items. If I could have given it no stars, I would. They need to really review the construction and materials of these balls; basically just insert a squeeker into a normal tennis ball and find some way of fixing that in place so that it stays squeeking and does not represent a swallowing hazard to pets.

The best balls in the business. 😯
These are without a doubt, the best tennis balls for my dog.I have and Olde English Frenchie, and she's a big old girl, just 25kgs of muscle, so she tends to treat tennis balls like my Staffy did, and she just bites them until they pop, then that ball won't fly anymore. With these, the pressure is just perfect enough that it allows the ball to squeak, but there's not enough pressure for my little beast to destroy it on the first throw. She also hasn't found a quick way of ripping all the felt off them, so they're doing extremely well. The only problem is, the ball ends up so disgusting that I've actually started washing the balls, because I'm sure they'll last for a long time!I'm really surprised at how good these are.

My labrador loves them more than any other toy
Omg. My labrador just loves these and I'm probably keeping them in business. He will eventually eat the furry bit off the outside of them, but they last. They aren't extremely bouncy, but will do one bounce enabling me to kick it. He loves the squeak which can be irritating as he uses it to get your attention. 100% worth it though. They last well.

Should have taken notice of the one stars!
If you've a dog who likes chewing a ball or is obsessed with a squeak steer clear. If you have a sensible dog, they might work for you. We have a jack russell / pug cross who is obsessed with chasing balls and sqeaks. However, with these balls he was on a mission to get to the squeak. The ball lasted no more than 2-3 minutes and was split open.I should have known better. Complete waste of money.

Smaller than a tennis ball.
My dog loves these balls but I got him the wrong size. M is not for his size but as he looks like the Malamute in the picture I got them. Also as a question had been answered saying they were tennis ball size. They are smaller than a tennis ball so perfect for a small-medium dog. It does say available in other sizes but I can’t seem to select another size. He will have to wait now for bigger ones ☹️ I have given 5 stars as it is partly my fault I got the wrong size and the product is still a good product going by previous perchases of Kong balls.

Don't bother to buy these
These Kong balls are absolute rubbish. One lasted 4 days before the squeaker fell out into the ball. Another lasted only 2 days before the squeaker no longer worked. On the 3rd ball now which is just as rubbish as the others. My dog only gets to play with them on our walk as I use them as an aid to recall. I complained to the seller who didn't have the decency to respond!!
