MC TIMBER PRODUCTS LTD 6ft HEAVY DUTY WOODEN WORK BENCH With Rear Upstand - Solid Wooden Worktop - NEW!!

Had this bench now for several weeks and it has proved to be so good - I now have a second one (a 4ft model to fit in a 4ft gap!) as well. A really sturdy bench which is quite easy to assemble (I did it on my own but MC Timber advise using 2 people which will make life easier). It is quite heavy so, again, 2 people is better - or I used a trolley to help me move it about - even before I had built it! The assembly instructions are quite clear - just follow carefully step-by-step. In use, it has proved to be rock-solid - just what is needed for safe working environment. Even sawing wood does not register on the bench - it takes such activities in it's stride. All in all, a great bit of kit!

Very impressed with the quality of the timber and the build of the work surface. This is a mighty work bench! I plan to leave this outside year in year out. Not very portable for one person anyway!! It looks as though it has decades of life. Only hiccup was that the instructions and number of screws were for a bench with an mdf top and shelf not the pressure treated solid timber version I bought. Not a problem I had the 5 missing screws and I could see where the assembly was going! Very satisfied with the finished product so despite the hiccup, 5 stars!
