The Y Brush was recommended by a friend for my teenager who's not great at brushing his teeth. It's been such a great buy and means the dentist is no longer concerned about his teeth brushing. I've also just bought the kids version for my other son who has extra needs and struggles to use a traditional toothbrush. It means he'll be able to brush his own teeth properly for the first time!

I have had several new implants and a full mouth of veneers, needless to say, after spending £8000 on getting my teeth done, I thought it only proper that I should go all out in ensuring the maintenance of my teeth, herein lies the problem. The single-sided mouthpiece does not fit my mouth, it's far too generically sized assuming that one size fits all, in my case; it doesn't. The brushes feel like they're barely touching one's teeth and most definitely doesn't go anywhere near brushing the gums.I tried the item twice and that was enough to tell me that for me, this product is a no-no.It is a real shame, I think that they could be onto a winner with this item, however, until they work out their "one size fits all" approach, it's a no thank you from me and I'll be returning the product for a refund.

*** Update on this review:Y-Brush have stepped in and replaced my defective unit directly, and also supplied the smaller brush. This is excellent customer service. I have to say the new brush is a pleasure to use and seems to work in the intended manner. Fantastic service from this company, and I have changed my review from 1 star to a 5 star review. Superb company, super product. Recommended!This toothbrush will definitely get your 'gag reflex' going....Not recommended, and poor quality of build means the USB charge point broke off the second time it was charged. Very expensive and very poor qualityNot recommended

I love the idea and the feel of my teeth afterwards. I've found though it's cutting my gum at the top back as I think it's too big for my mouth.. Went to the maker's website and cannot contact them. I have wished to raise this privately but the contact is part doesn't work.
