Presidium Replacement Probe Pen PS2-2 for Presidium Gem Tester II (PGT II) and Presidium Duo Tester II (PDT II)

I've got to say that I'm generally pleased with this Presidium Replacement Probe Pen PS2-2. It's a great quality product that works perfectly as a replacement part for my Presidium Gem Tester II. The probe pen itself is well-made, with a sturdy construction and smooth operation. The design is also clever, making it easy to use and maneuver the tip of the pen into tight spaces. I've found it to be very useful for testing gemstones and other small items. However, my main gripe with this product is the price. It's significantly more expensive than I'd expected, especially considering that it's just a replacement part. While it's still worth paying for in terms of quality and functionality, I do think that the price could be lower.

I had this probe pen for only a week and was very careful with it because the original pen that came with the presidium lasted about 2 months and the machine arrow malfunctioned , finding out from another user it could be the pen I bought another, which fixed the problem but this time the needle on the pen went into the probe and stayed there. I had only used it a handful of times was very upset . I am replacing it for the third and last time. but when the pen goes bad it can affect the machines function also so it is best to replace your pen probe before you replace the presidium. They need to make the safety cap so it stays on the pen it is rather useless . All I did was gently use my pen a few times and the needle disappeared into the pen. I will give up and go to another brand if this pen breaks. I am 73 and dont understand how to return the item so I will take the loss

Bought this a few months ago and it is still going strong. I was a bit worried it would be finicky being that it is a replacement pen but it worked perfectly.
