Great little camera for the price. Really pleased with it.
I absolutely love this little camera. I love the convenience of it (very simple, point-and-click) and I also love the price. I found that I stopped taking and also stopped viewing images taken with my mobile phone. I don't know why - it's almost like they "get lost" in the cloud/ether - whatever - all I know is that images taken with my phone simply don't get reviewed and so memories don't seem to be recorded, viewed again or treasured. Also, there is an issue of phone memory being used up, even though photos are saved to cloud storage. This little camera is small, light, very easy to use, and the images seem to be of a decent enough quality for the average person - I'm sure image quality would be a huge issue for a photo pro, but they wouldn't buy this type of camera in the first place and I guess you get what you pay for. That said, 21 megapix isn't bad. For me the photo sharpness is good enough and so far I have only got it set on 16 megapix. If I notice an issue when viewing on the computer, I'll take subsequent photos at 21 megapix max, which is very easy to do, but so far I haven't felt the need to. My 32GB memory card will cope and in any case I now tend to upload the photos to my laptop quite often, label them, arrange them and generally review the photos I have taken and also mentally review the memory of the moment I took the photo and why I took it. I wasn't doing this with photos taken with my phone.I haven't so far really tested the camera with vibrant colours, but it seems to handle the green and greys of March in the UK well. I'd like to see how it handles reds, oranges and vivid blues, so I'll reserve judgement on this for now.I found the instruction booklet to contain all I needed to know to operate the camera fully. Admittedly it is very small print, but the content was ok. That said, the camera is actually quite "intuitive" to use - the menus are quite easy to access and straight-forward to negotiate, select and change, plus there are some very handy "quick access" buttons for the more commonly accessed settings, such as flash on/off/auto/red-eye, etc. I think the only issue for me (with big fingers) is viewing images that I have taken - to do this you need to press the left side of the function ring/button, which is really near to the screen housing at the back and so it's not that easy. I guess this is one compromise for having a small, compact camera.I got this mostly for hiking and just being out and about. I get fed up with getting the mobile phone out and then keying in the security code to unlock it (which I have to have on all the time as it has access to my business server) and then taking a photo (that I couldn't compose or review because I couldn't see the screen due to glare/reflection). You can't unlock your phone if you have gloves on, but I reckon you could just about switch this camera on and take a photo with (thin) gloves on. Also, this little camera easily slips into a spare pocket, or the zip pocket on the waist support strap of a rucksack. So it makes it easy to get the camera out, switch on, compose a shot and see the result, then download it to the computer later and add a description, or even some GPS coordinates if recording hiking waypoints both as a .GPX file and visually. One drawback could be that it does not have a lens cap and does not have an automatic protective lens shutter either, so in theory muck and dust could get to the lens, but it does come with an external slip case which protects it to some extent. There is also a wrist lanyard. Getting the loop of the lanyard through the tiny hole in the camera casing is not easy, but with care it can be done. There are 2 Lithium ion batteries, so great for hiking - one fully charged in the camera and one in the pack. These charge by either plugging in the USB cable into your computer, or you can use the charger (any USB type charger seems to work) and USB cable. There is NO SD card - it takes the normal size SD, not the micro-SD. 32GB is recommended, but 64GB is possible, but not recommended by the manufacturer for some reason. Maybe it takes too long to read?Really happy with this camera, which I slip into my pocket when taking the dogs for a walk. Also take it hiking/camping. Take it in the car. It's really great and at this price I really can't find any complaints.

21MP and Anti Shake! What more do you want at this price! :):)
I spent over a day teaching my kid how to use this camera. It's designed with ease of use for kids and also for adults.I like that it came with two batteries and easy to understand instructions.I am myself a pro photographer so obviously I'm not use to a camera like this but then again it doesn't cost £3000! HahaThe camera is slim and has minimal buttons to operate it's features.Everything was easy for me to figure out and ooerating the menu was easy via the main button. This LCD display is adequate and good enough at price for non pro use.I also love the macro feature to take photos of things a bit closer and that the camera seems to be focused when you depress the shutter! I like it! This means more chances of getting that shot and less wasted ones! Its lightweight and so easy to take out with you anywhere and anytime. You won't know it's in your pocket or purse. It's also got ANTI SHAKE feature, and that I didn't know it had. Well done, Albert Best! It's a 21MP which is more than enough.Although the LCD display isn't high resolution (I doubt any low cost camera out there will be higher) once you look at the photos on the computer, you will be surprised at how good they are! This is a great low cost camera that takes great photos.Ideal as a gift for kids and adults alike.

Great for young beguiners but didn't last long
Update March 20th 2019 : I have now changed my rating to 1 star as the camera has stopped working. It didn't charge anymore no matter what and where we tried. I have not left my child using it on its own so it's definitely not beeing dropped or soaked. It's now been returned.-----------------------My oldest child has developed a fine interest in photography so we decided to invest in a basic digital camera before considering more expensive gear. Overall it's a nice looking camera, it's lightweight (including with batteries), small so it will easily fit in a pocket, good battery life and very simple to use. It comes with instructions, two sets of batteries, little protective pocket and hand string attachment (always handy), charging cables and driver CD. It's nicely boxed too so perfect for gifting. Picture quality wise, a smartphone will be much more precise and clear but still you can get decent pictures. Overall for the price and what it is intended we're happy with the purchase.

Good
I didn't expect miracles at this price point so was surprised at the wealth of functionality this little camera has.. The bit I was most impressed with was the macro function and I have taken some superb close ups of wood grain and flowers. There is an anti shake function, face detection, smile capture, built in flash and some other functions that I don't know anything about like white balance etc. It also has several settings called scenes, like sport, night, day..You get all the leads you need, uploading to a pc is done in seconds and it's so easy to use.. When I think what I paid for a Kodak 3MP digital camera 15 years ago and the functions that had this camera beats it hands down at a fraction of the cost.. I'm pleased with it..
