My old JBL amp finally went up, so I bought this as a cheap temporary replacement. I’ve been into car audio for over 30years, so I have a fairly good understanding of what works and what doesn’t.. I’m using it to push one 10 inch kicker, and it’s WAY better than I thought it would be. I can’t notice any real difference in sound quality between this and and the JBL amp that was pushing it before.. it also hits about the same. I’ll give another update if anything changes.

I bought this amp to power my single 15” Skar subwoofer. I wired my 2ohm sub down to 1ohm which gives me the full 1200 watts of both sub and amp. I am beyond blown away how clean the bass is and how hard it hits. I can’t wait to hear it when it’s broken in. I gave myself a budget of $400 for car audio. For around $370 I replaced a pair of 6.5 door speakers and a pair of 4x6 door speakers made my Hifonics and I was pleasantly surprised. I bought a ported 15” box that is 3/4” thick, a Skar 15” SDR d2 2ohm subwoofer and a 1200 watt Hifonics Zeus amp, and 25’ of 10 gauge speaker wire, connectors and a box of hex wood screws. The crazy thing is I spent close to $1700 on my Corvette setup and the overall sound quality isn’t that far off.

My fault for not installing it right away so now I can’t return it 🤦🏻‍♂️ so after install I was having issues with alternator whine sound coming from the highs so I redid the ground to the amp even directly grounded the amp straight to the battery nothing. changed the rca jacks even tried a different deck, grounded the rca redid the ground on the deck and still. A lot of waisted time and money went into this install and I should have just spent the money on the better brands than to save money with this cheap stuff. Went with a pioneer gm-dx974 couldn’t be happier

I had already bought an Alpine 500W 2ohm stable mono amp that has worked great for years in my Mustang. When the Kicker Solobaric L7 1000W RMS/ 2000W Peak came in, I thought it was 2 ohms. Nope, dual 2 ohm voice coils. So, I had the choice of 4 Ohms or 1 Ohm. I bought this amp last minute, because the Alpine would have only given me 250W at 4 Ohms. After having it professionally installed @Wowelectronics (Clinton Township, MI), I was VERY happy with the performance on this Watt Hungry Subwoofer. It's only been a few days, and it's only 7 degrees in Michigan right now. We'll see how it handles the heat this Summer.

Really good quality. It works really good for my 2 12s. Has good power makes them sound amazing. It's not big in size which is good.

While cheap for the price it’s not really all that strong.

I heard a lot of reviews about a lot of different cheap mono amps I decided to stick with hifonics I've had them in the past and this one is no different than the ones I've owned before clean powerful reliable and good luck and on sale win-win logic remote control ease of operation in quality overall...,
