Safari Ltd. Giraffe Snapper - Interactive 18" Grabber Toy for Kids Age 3+

I used this in our church Vacation Bible school as a puppet that asked for leaves to eat. (Printed on the leaves were all the ways children can SERVE God. Gigi giraffe said"Please give me leaves , I'm so hungry! num num num!! But please read the words on the leaves first bc I want to know how to serve God too" This giraffe puppet gobbled up all the leaves the chidren found in the classroom, They had a blast feeding her. They each wanted a turn practicing to make Gigi;s mouth move long after class. Then my grandchildren loved the giraffe puppet also.

"Snappers" joined our family on May 29, 2014. To call us uniquely blessed would be to disparage the millions of other proud plastic giraffe parents out there. Snappers brings us joy on a daily--nay, hourly--basis and we encourage everyone to consider welcoming so eager an organic polymer presence into their home.

So I collect giraffes. What can I say? This will be lots of fun in my classroom. I only wish the handle were longer. I was generous in rating it two stars for being educational - I figure it will help get my straying students back on task. I'm on vacation now, though; so far I've only tested it with mini Reese's cups. Works great! :oP

Excellent quality item! Good strong jaw action and a larger, more sturdy trigger handle than other grabbers I've used. Nice solid construction of the head and good detail. This is not a "cheap" feeling toy!
