Says 9ft mine was just over 7 feet prolly won't bother useing it besides being short it seems to be quality rope the knots good works as should jus wish it was longer

I was looking for a quality short safety line to use with my open shot tree stand. Found it. Exactly as described and pictured. I’ll replace the steel carabiner with a climbing rated aluminum one and it comes with a small sewn loop on the tail end where I will add a stopper knot. Great price and quality. It’s a keeper.

Great line man’s rope with plenty of length to play with

I do not have a tree stand, nor do I hunt. But I wanted to built up some rig/kit to help me feel safer while doing some work on my roof. Using the carabiner, and the strong rope, I plan to partner this with a longer climbing rope and a harness. Rather than buying a strictly roofing harness, I though I might be additional usage in other applications with this kit. From what I can tell, this will work great. The carabiner along is just superior in my view. The rope and carabiner are very heavy duty. The carabiner is marked as rated for 2.5 Tons (5000 lbs) which I found interesting since most climbing carabiners are rated in KN. It doesn't really make a difference just found that interesting. The rope has a reflective material built in which could be helpful for other hunters to identify your location if you are hunting on public lands. I really do like this style of safety rope over the belt style. I often hunt from a climber and this allows you to move up and down the tree in a much more efficient fashion and much easier to lower quickly if you need to get it out of the way for a bow shot. I have found times when a deer shows up on the opposite side of where expected the belt style straps often get in the way of the shot. If you are hunting from an elevated stand I would really recommend picking up one. With an additional locking carabiner this can also be used as a lineman's belt for hanging climbing sticks and hang on stands.

This year was the first time that I used a tree stand while deer hunting and also the first time that I used a safety line to prevent injury if I were to fall. While I didn't fall, the knowledge of having this rope protecting me when I was high up in the air made me feel safe. Very glad I have this.
