Love this thing! Used it very happily in a recent interview shoot. Photos attached. (my camera is a Sony a6400 for size reference). Soooo many attachment points. Very versatile and built incredible well. Very intuitive to use. Great value.

Very solid rig and so many options with it. I would definitely buy it again. It is easy to install and you can tell it will take a drop if it had to. Handle is a nice addition as well.

I use this camera cage with my Fuji XT3 and Battery Grip. Fits nicely, plenty of room to spare. Lots of options to add other components to my kit. Build quality is solid and sturdy with good weight. Wish the screw for the camera plate was easier to access and turn.

So convenient to use and sturdy. Provides a smooth movement when filming and the support is amazing. Great bang for your buck. It’s functional and easy to use.

I have the Nikon D500 fits perfectly, havent had much time to try it out but it fits all your bits that you need for videography. Looking forward to trying it out.

As an ex professional stills photographer but first time filmmaker, I have been looking on the market for a more affordable way to stabilise video footage from my full frame but quite old Nikon D750. I mainly shoot music videos so stability but handheld flexibility were the most important aspects when looking for a camera cage. Expensive electronic gimbals whilst desirable are too expensive for my budget, but whilst shopping around, this cage caught my eye, and so did the price. First off, As I've recently found, balancing the cage becomes a very important key when you're shooting handheld. No problem there as this NEWEER camera cage has dual grips to provide a comfy but solid grip, reducing aching hands after long shoots. Also if you're shooting videos with your DSLR or mirrorless camera, you'll soon find how crucial stability is. And for stability and comfort this camera cage and top handle from NEEWER could be the beating heart as the foundation for your perfect rig setup. If you're planning to shoot on a tripod, no worries – it's got both size screw mounting holes on the bottom for tripod quick release plates. and as the cage is easily modified and will work with any quick release plate system. A big bonus for those with large and slightly older Full frame DSLR camera bodies is this cage's compatibility with a wide range of cameras, such as Nikon f mount and Canon EOS, plus newer and more compact mirrorless Sony A7 series and Panasonic Lumix cameras. It's a solid foundation, for practically any size DSLR but to make it complete, you might want to consider adding a few extra fittings... One thing you might find handy is a monitor attachment. This rig has multiple mounting points, so you can easily attach a monitor for better visibility while shooting. Plus, it's got cold shoe mounts, so you can also add things like LED lights, microphone, v mount battery plates as You'll want to make sure your camera stays juiced up for those long shooting sessions. This cage is solidly built but also lightweight, so you shouldn't feel too bogged down by heavy equipment, nor much issue with comfort. (at least so far, i haven’t) One suggestion would be to include some extra cheese plates and screws with the kit to give you more options for customizability on your first set up, to avoid ordering extras when you need quick mounting options. NEWEER could of thrown those in at no real cost to themselves i don’t imagine. But that's a minor gripe, and these are easy to purchase after. Overall, this camera cage and handle combo is a great option for beginner videographers looking to achieve stability without breaking the bank on an electronic gimbal. With a few extra fittings and components, you can customise this camera cage to suit your needs and take the stability of your video shoots to the next level.
