Love it - a little heavy but works well
Color: Bright orange Ease of opening: Easy to use Button functionality: Easy to use Functionality: I’ve had a few Shedrain umbrellas and they’re well-made and easy to use. This JUMBO is a little heavier to carry around in my bag than the compact version, but it’s a bigger canopy, so you gotta choose. Compact and light but less coverage, or more coverage but heavier. I like having one of each.

Great umbrella.
Great umbrella. Has everything you would want. Very easy to have with you. My biggest fear would be to lose it.

Heavy duty umbrella
Very sturdy umbrella. I would have given it 5 stars, but when I researched where it was made it said USA. When I received it -"made in China". It does open and close easily. It is big enough for two people.

Only Good Things To Say
I love that I no longer get soaked when stepping into my car while fumbling trying to close an umbrella. Product quality is great. Conservative look and nice. Fits neatly into the drink cup holder of my passenger door and is easy to transport.

Best Windy Weather Umbrella On The Market
I bought 3 of these to take with my family on an extended vacation driving around Ireland, Northern Ireland, Iceland and Scotland. It rains almost every day in these places and the wind is really something to add to it. These umbrellas withstood everything we went thru on a daily basis. Hard to argue with quality. You get what you pay for. If you are looking for an umbrella to withstand high winds and rain, look no further!

Lives up to the hype.
Great quality from this umbrella, and easy to use. did not see any issues with the opening/closing mechanisms. The larger version is on the heavier side, but with the range of coverage; it’s a small price to pay.

Patented technology is a gimmick, umbrella broke after encounter withs strong winds
At $40 I had decent expectation for the product. The idea of their patented cable technology was intriguing and I bought it thinking it would be helpful during typhoon season in Hong Kong. I was wrong. My experience: I used it a couple times in the rain and worked quite well at repelling rain but the first time that I use it on a windy day, one of the ribs got bent by the wind and the connected stretcher snapped off (and punctured the canopy) the following time I opened the umbrella. The company claims that it can withstand winds up to 75 mph. In Hong Kong, Typhoon 3 weather signal would indicate winds between 25 - 40 mph. During my time out on that day, it was merely Typhoon 1, a lesser weather warning signal. Aesthetics: It's a really nice looking, well designed (aesthetically) product and I liked the snazzy orange color with the reflective accents (of course color is preferential so take that as you like). The Velcro strap is thick with embossed lettering for the brand and looks quite strong. Function: No Carrier Bag: The umbrella does not come with a carrier bag. Storage may be a minor challenge as the umbrella doesn't slim down after wrapping it up with the velcro strap. And after reaching inside, you will leave a water trail since no bag to limit the dripping. The button and shaft looks quite strong and the double flap canopy is standard for wind resistant umbrellas these days. Stretcher and Ribs: The cable enforced technology adds an additional cable that runs from the stretcher to the rib tip at the outer edge of the canopy. I'm guessing it is suppose to add additional reinforcements. But per my experience, it did not seem to work. TL;DR: Bought this umbrella for their patented wind resistance technology, broke at the first encounter of decent winds.
