I personally would not purchase again.The foam comes compressed. Instructions say to let the foam air up but after a few WEEKS foam was uneven and looked not great. Ultimately a waste of time and money.To be fair maybe it was just my shipment but I seriously doubt that.

If you take your time, your project will look and work great at the end. I made a magazine storage bin for my semi auto magazines.

I needed additional secure packaging for a item I was shipping and this kind of foam is ideal for that. Unfortunately it did not fully expand, but was able to be used regardless.I think the packaging kept it too compressed for too long, as I had it out of the plastic ASAP and left for a full week to hope it would expand. No dice.3 stars because it is nice, easy to tear pick foam, but packaged and left in the warehouse too long.

Bought a few sets of these to put into to Harbor Fright cases so I could kit up some radios (see pic). They're decent foam and pretty easy to pluck out whatever voids you need.The main issue is that they're shipped in a highly compressed bag and it can take days for the foam blocks to expand from their "squashed sandwich" state. I found that the use of a fabric steamer works wonders at expanding the foam out almost instantly. Once steamed, they're ready for shaping and use.

I wanted additional foam for some instrument cases I have. The foam came vacuum packed, like a mattress in a box. I cut open the package and laid the pieces out separately before leaving the office for a week. When I returned, the pieces barely expanded at all. All 4 pieces together were barely taller than a quarter. Returning them with Prime was no big deal, but now I'm shy about buying anything like this online. Thinking about just getting the whole case with foam already in it from hazard fraught.

Inserts are fairly high-density; will provide structure to the container. A bit tougher to cut precisely for smaller items, but worked fairly well for me with larger/heavier powertools. Sizes are as advertised.

Waste of money, unusable product. The foam comes vacuum packed with instructions to allow 24 hours to return to original shape. Over 48 hours later the foam is still flat.

I opened this product the day it arrived. 6 days later theses pieces of foam are as flat as they were when I took them out of the vacuum sealed bag. Would NOT reccomend
