It says oven safe to 500 in one spot and 300 in another, which is it?

I would not use it in the oven The only pans I trust in the oven are the cast iron ones

Is there a trick to assembly the handle? Cant get handle to attach tightly. Tried with and without the washer. Handle is really loose.

I sent the 1st one back only to find out I still had the same issue. Took it to a family gettogether 2 others tried and failed 3rd person after spending 10 minutes or more got it right, but he does not know how just kept messing with it and it finally worked. He did use the washer. We all had the same issue wobbly handle. Been using it 6 weeks now is is a real nice pan but still don't understand why it is so hard to put together. I know this did not help but there is no trick that the person who finally fixed it could explain
